They messed up the ending worse than Dangan Ronpa. The entire battle between OD and Katze got skipped. This shit was trash throughout. What a waste of transformations and abilities. What a waste of a theme that doesnāt suck. This shit looks like it was directed by a feminist. Itās one of those shows that is really really bad but has the elements to make it good so you keep watching hoping it will get good but it never does it only gets worse and worse and then just dies.

Motherfuckers donāt have the money to buy everything they like and when each disc Vol with just 2 eps costs $100 a pop, the competition is fierce.

....Now, Pony Canyon is the just the Distributor, they don't really have any say in production aspects for this, but the production budget comes from I.G. and Wit Studio, which is actually a subsidiary of IG, just like Xebec Studio is one of their subsidiaries. Aniplex and IG are basically the biggest budget producers in anime, that's why I tend to flip the names on occasion. The reason I threw that in at the beginning, wasn't so much for the huge budget, but more for the fact that IG does not have a big tendency to do sequels, they've actually only made a few, such as the GiTS and XxxHolic series, even though most of their productions have been very successful, profit wise.

Ya, the artist of Shokugeki used to be a famous hentai artist named Tosh. The manga is actually quite good and apparently they even have a chef on staff to make sure the dishes are semi-legit. It starts off a bit fan-servicey but that tones down later on. Iām a bit of a sucker for actual cooking manga though so Iām a bit biased.
The fan service doesnāt tone down whatsoever. Thank god.

Itās a 60% filler episode showing a new power on eren āberserker modeā. Changed a lot of scenes. It has all the good things about SnK (and I personally think that this episode is better than the manga counterpart), I actually loved this episode. Watch it, it was insane from begining to end.
Also, for those wondering, stay after the credits for the big reveal and big cliffhanger for Season 2 (US)/Season 3 (JP)
Also SnK Anime will be back on the Fall season of 2014, confirmed.
