The new season TWGOK is really different from the first two seasons. They pretty much skipped ahead to were the manga shifted gears and stop being a girl of the week manga. The Goddess arc is really good so I’d def think about giving it another shot.
Like… Railgun S-to-Railgun different? Or less? Railgun S turned out to have much less waste-of-time content so I satisfied. But TWGOK was so long ago and I was already disliking more and more throughout S2. Nice to know it’s different but I’ll probably skip it anyway. I’ve got the whole Ghost in the Shell series to go through right now.
GitS:SAC Series 1 is easily one of my all-time favourite series. The Solid State Society movie was also really good.
Then again, Production IG and Shirow Masamune don’t often make mistakes.

Panty and Stocking has a good dub.
In fact, it is one of the few acceptable kind of dubs because it isn’t anime. Also, Japanese people don’t have swear words so the gratuitous cursing adds to it.
On the Kromo Sliding Scale of Anime Shame Index, Panty and Stocking is pretty low. I mean, you wouldn’t want to watch it with your grandparents…but you aren’t going to jail over it.
Devil May Cry also had pretty solid Dub work.

The only difference between the two is that the director was compelled to adapt Sisters Arc well because of how prominent it is in the series(Index and Railgun). Also, the big budget because of how well season 1 and Index movie did. You spoke too soon about the “waste-of-time content”. Episode 17 is the start of a filler arc, and this week they are just airing a promo for the movie that is filler but the Railgun manga and Index novels were retconned to make it canon. Hopefully this filler won’t last for the rest of the season.
