lol ran into this manga called Big Order thats frighteningly similar to* Code Geass* in various ways although the MC is not as scheming as Lelouch so far and prefers not to kill to obtain his goal of world domination. (Of course no Mechas either)

-The MC Order is “Territory” which seems like a buffed up version of Lelouch “Power of the King” geass since it can work on inanimate objects too and does not require eye contact as long as its inside the territory,
-replace C.C with this “Fairy”,
-he has a crippled little sister who he cares very deeply about,
- Has similar sense of “Justice” of wanting to change the world for “peace”.
- Replace “Destroy Britania” when he was a kid to “Conquer the World” as a kid
-uses his Order to obtain comrades; replace Kallen with this Yandere twin-tail chick
-Replace Leader of Black Knights with “King” of Order of Ten
-Replace Geass on Eyes with Order on Palm of Hand

I already talked about Big Order in the last thread.
That manga is fucking hype, if that girl actually gave birth I would have deemed it the “realest shit around”.
I like looking at Shunya’s art from time to time, but them becoming figurines ain’t that appealing to me. I don’t plan on owning either one, but these are all the rage currently:

I just found out that Say i love you had an anime adaptation on the 2012 fall seasson 
Still, i will continue reading the rest of the manga’s chapters before jumping to the anime
Just wondering, why do most people prefer reading the manga instead of watching the anime?
For the same reason people enjoy the harry potter books to the movies.
And that reason is?
In my case is because it is rare to see an anime adaptation that it’s true to the source material.
Don’t get me wrong, there are anime adaptations that are great and actually expand the story and/or enrich the context of what is on the manga (Nodame Cantabile with the adition of the music comes to mind), but the major part of the time this is not the case, in many occasions the anime cuts a lot of stuff (The 2nd and 3rd season of Nodame Cantabile Sadly cuts a lot of stuff because both were only 13 episodes long :(), or in the case of long runners add a lot of filler crap that is subpar (this doesn’t mean that a show cant have good fillers, but it is very rare as well) or change stuff because whatever reason.
In few words i like to stick with what the original author had in mind for the major part of the time, this doesn’t mean that i don’t enjoy the derivatives that can come from his/her work.
Also not every anime adaptation has the luck of getting consistent quality on the drawings and animation

On a related note, i tend to prefer the animes over mangas where the anime was first
Its because they are filthy hipsters. It is the otaku equivalent of saying “I liked it before it was cool” or "I prefer it on record"
They like to sit in coffee shops with their mac books reading obscure titles. Their black mascara running down their unwashed faces as they break out in tears from the so called glorious art direction and panel layout. Their grubby hands, calloused through years of masturbation tremble as they leaf through worn and used up tankobons, spines wrinkled and broken like their sense of decency.
But I thought they were reading them on a mac book, where did the “tankobons” come from?
Read Blade of the Immortal, then watch a single episode of the anime, and you’ll understand.
I can read a book whenever I want, and stop whenever I want.
With an anime, I’m locked in 30 minutes at a time.
Man…i hate them both lol.
