Titan is ok.
Yuyushiki is easily the best show of the season. Opening and ending is better, Characters are likable, doesn’t waste your time with disposable characters. Titan is just a bunch of pusses acting tough and then dying. Dull face, dull face, shocked face, angry face, little bit of violence, shocked face, angry face dull face dull face. I’m rooting for the titans. Eat those redshirts. Bunch of crybabies. I assume episode 6 is going to have a berserk rip off cyber arm+leg. If you don’t get rock hard when cute girls casually ask each other “Why do living things die?” You aren’t even alive.
I think Photokano has the most unlikable protagonist I’ve seen in a while. I mean, at least most unremarkable, undeserving, average looking, inarticulate and cowardly main characters have a basic “niceness” to them. This guy seems to be cowardly to a fault. Like…not even sadlife virgin, now surrounded by beautiful girls fish out of water coward, but like, lack of moral fiber coward. Most harem leads are beta males in some kind of power vacuum, defacto alphas or whatever. He is a beta’s beta. Like…he hangs with the creeps and losers, and is kind of creepy about his hobby, but still gets the girls.

It’s a 2-cours battle action show set in an all girls high school. The main characters are Ryuuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuuin. Satsuki is the 18 year old studen council president in a school where strength rules over all, and her uniform grants her the power of conquest. Ryuuko is a 17 year old transfer student to the school. She carries with her half a piece of a giant scissors-sword as a weapon, and she is looking for the other half seeking revenge for something in her past. The rivalry between the two girls is what drives the series forward.
Originally the plan was to make a pure battle manga sort of series set in a highschool, with the main character beating rival after rival in combat. After Nakashima compled about 4 episodes worth of scripts, Imaishi probably got bored of it because he decided to trash everything. The series has apparently since been changed to focus on character drama instead. The rivalry between the two main characters will be a major driving force.

Yuyushiki should have been my favorite show of the season but Yui is the only main character I can stand. The other two are beyond annoying. Show needs another straight man or tone down the retard on one of them.

Yawn, it’s been done to death. Sounds disturbingly similar to Tokyo Girls Destruction…and 2 dozen other anime before it. Unlike a lot of anime nerds, I have no allegiance to studio’s or director’s, so I don’t give a shit who’s making it. It’s gonna be generic as hell. I’ll pass.
