Are you talking about the palm thrust thing in particular or something? There might have been some character that used it, but I doubt they are all referencing it. It’s way more likely that they are just all using kung fu because they are either Chinese, or they just made them(wesker) that way. You’re probably reading into it way more than necessary. If it was like the rapid punches(JoJo) or the pressure point stuff(HnK) then possibly, but I doubt it’s anything like that for those characters.
So another one of my Borders is having a closing sale so I decided to get the first two Gunslinger Girl omnibus books and it’s so good. Pretty heartwrenching. :shake:

I will say that the reason why Borders is closing is because of people like me who just grab a book and just read it in the store itself instead of actually buying it. I remember reading Fight Club, to all 40+ volumes of Dragon Ball in one of my Borders since I was bored and had nothing else to do. (Not in one setting of course).
Anyway I wonder how Barnes & Noble will prevent themselves from going out of business. Which I hope not since my nearest B&N is the only bookstore that’s left after the only two Borders within my vicinity are closing, also since there’s also manga I have yet to purchase lol.
Just watched both Evangelion movies for the first time…pretty badass except for the wierd “whoops, your tits fell into my hands when we both tripped” situations and shit like that. Kinda ruined it…
Angels were badass though.
I just remembered, Del Rey hasn’t done SHIT with anything Kara no Kyoukai related, despite obtaining the license for the novels about 2 years ago. What gives? :shake:

Perhaps one of the better episodes of this season; this one features Natsume and friends going on a trip to a museum, which is in the area where he lived as a youngster. Poor dude had such a rough childhood; from moving from one family to the next to getting mistreated by the other kids and insinuating that he’s a liar when he talks about the youkai. Kinda nice of him to go back to the youkai whom wanted to scare him every time and he even recognized her scent well.

Well this episode was full of fabulous. 
Ringo’s imagination has gone beyond the realms of sanity (and her jealousy of Yuri taking her lover away) and there’s tons of hilarious moments in this episode (poor Shoma). However, that came to an end after that drop from the electronic stairs for one of Kanba’s old girlfriends. Though it was written in the diary, I doubt Ringo would do something which has almost nothing to do with Tabuki. Unless I looked at this the wrong way.
I hate it when companies sit on a license and don’t do anything. I’m looking at you KyoAni. Give us some FMP or sell the damn license.
I am almost certain that it’s more because of amazon and other online retailers than people like you and me.
