Usagi Drop is out. Going to watch it in a little bit.

Yeah I don’t think I’ve nerdgasm’d as hard I am with Negima right now.

Consistently even.

If it’s like the manga, get the tissues ready for the manly tears… at least for the 1st arc.

Already read the first half. It was glorious.

Watching Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne… pretty fucked up show, in all kinds of ways. Just finished Ep. 3 and I’m not happy with how it went down. At all.

Watched Kamisama Dolls and YuruYuri today.

Kamisama Dolls: Show seems good. Hibino’s boobs seem pretty godlike. Animation seems solid. Story is kinda interesting I guess. Robo Kyuubey is cool.

YuruYuri: Show was actually kinda funny. Chuckled a bit here and there. I was expecting it to not be very funny at all. Characters are pretty standard archetypes but it works. Energetic/happy girl. Straight girl. Otaku/weird girl. Cute girl. Will continue to watch.

YuruYuri was definitely nice. The characters are pretty lively and the comedic content is plentiful. I know it has the same staff from Mitsudomoe (and Minami-ke) but it differs majorly from that because its not padded out segments adapted from 8 page manga chapters. I like this show, Kyouko is the best.

Kaitou Tenshi Twin Angel was definitely average. Though it had a little more animation during the action part than what’s usually seen in most Mahou Shoujo shows its still a pretty generic Mahou Shoujo. Maybe if takes a more comedic focus instead of being all campy and whatnot down the line it can improve itself.

Kamisama Dolls was whatever. The story so far is convoluted cause it doesn’t really explain anything and Utao is pretty useless.

Usagi Drop was slow paced and… stuff. I dont have much to say about it other than everyone has such flat lined faces and that other little girl should be strangled to death.

Usagi Drop 1 was good. Looks to be pretty much a straight adaptation of the manga, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Touma goes gaga over older, big-tittied women with big sister characteristics. Stiyl has never displayed or stated romantic love for Index. The only woman he ever said he liked was Saint Teresa. Accelerator… who are you implying he goes gaga over?

There’s so much more to her than a simple title, man.

I didn’t say there wasn’t. I just answered the question.

Mawaru Penguindrum 1

[details=Spoiler]This show is still very, very mysterious, like it was before it even aired. Three siblings live together. Kanba is the oldest, Shouma is the middle child, and the youngest is the sister, Himari. Himari has some sort of [disease I’m guessing?], and she only has months to live. One day, the brothers take Himari to the aquarium to watch the penguins. After they see them (more specifically Shouma and Himari), the two go to the souvenir shop and get Himari a penguin hat. Right as he is buying it though, Himari disappears, and we find her in the middle of the aquarium, collapsed. She’s dead.

They rush her to the hospital and confirm her dead. A scene with Kanba and Shouma takes place, with Himari in a hospital bed. (On an unrelated note, this seemed like some of the scenes in the second arc of Utena, where (insert character here) is in an elevator.) Suddenly, Himari gets up and is alive. However, there is a mystical force controlling her, and it’s all caused by the penguin hat. Apparently, this mysterious figure controlling her body has extended her life. They go home afterwards. At home, they are sent a box with an unknown sender. There are 3 blue cylinders inside, frozen, and the siblings do not know what they are.

Shouma goes to school and does some stuff after school. He forgets his subway pass, and SUDDENLY, a penguin appears out of nowhere and gives it to him. (And if you’re wondering how he doesn’t question it? Your guess is as good as mine.) Cabbage is sold out at the grocery store, and SUDDENLY, a penguin appears out of nowhere to give him cabbage. It is raining and he doesn’t have an umbrella, and SUDDENLY, a penguin comes out of nowhere to give him one. At this point, he asks a kid if he knows “what this penguin is”. He and his mother cannot see it.

Shouma runs home (with the penguin chasing him), and when he comes home, he sees two more penguins. The package sent earlier was (obviously) the three penguins. And apparently, they can understand what they are saying, and only they can see them. After this, the three siblings (I may as well mention it, they have the last name of Takakura) have dinner, and in the middle of it, the penguin hat goes back onto Himari, and we get a trippy sequence where the force controlling her tells the brothers to “find the Penguin Drum”.

There were a bunch of Utena allusions, and that’s to be expected from Ikuhara. Overall, it was interesting. It leaves you with a million questions, and answers none.[/details]

Himari kind of looks like Rin from Usagi Drop. I don’t know why.

Hi, go read this summary on my blog instead. It’s better.

You can’t pour water over this raging fire Warp.
