Shoutouts to being “emotionally detached” just cause I didn’t like AnoHana when everyone else did.
Fuck you Dog Days. Fuck you. But if Seven Arcs makes a Dog Da-A’s: Afternoon while retconning the original story to actually have a focused plot with a real antagonist in it, all will be forgiven. I shall eagerly await for that to happen as Seven Arcs tends to make second seasons of their shows.
Holy shit Hanasaku 13 was great. To that guy who complained about Ohana stringing along Ko, you have to watch this episode so you can realize you got the completely opposite message you were supposed to.
Man this show is shaping up to be as good as Kaleido Star. The first half ended amazingly well and I am actually fucking hype to see the second half now.
I think I’m going to drop Hanasaku Iroha. Too much counter-trolling.
Ko is counter-trolling now, which isn’t nearly as entertaining as Ohana’s trolling. The end result of the counter-trolling is a whole lot of BAAAAAWWWWing, reminiscent of Ano Hana 11. I also used to enjoy the stork trolling Ohana, but Ohana has successfully counter-trolled as of the latest episode, which is a direct result of Ko’s counter-trolling. Moms trolling the entire inn was entertaining, though, but not enough to keep me on board. Maybe if she was a regular character. At this point, the best characters are Mameji, the crybaby son, and neck nape perv. Really?
Let me put on my anti-Gasaraki shield and armor now.
The show had that KS vibe ever since the 1st episode, not to mention the parallels between Ohana and Sora, so that doesn’t surprise me a bit. Yeah, hopefully the 2nd half is just as good.
Seriously, there is no “trolling” going on here. Just characters trying to move on and grow up.
Hanasaku Iroha 13
[details=Spoiler]
And this episode proves it even further, with Ohana recognizing her current resolve is to do her best at Kisuiso. Otherwise, I actually liked Satsuki a lot more in this episode…maybe despite her flaws, there is still a person who actually cares about both her daughter and her mother. Also, Ohana getting drunk on soda is pretty hilarious.[/details]
Tiger and Bunny 13
Spoiler
Turns out that Jake had more than one power outside of using barriers, and it’s mind reading. Of course, Barnaby didn’t knew that until Kotetsu (who’s hundred power can enable him to use Wolverine’s healing factor) manages to catch up to him and eventually, trick Jake by telling Barnaby earlier on that he had super hearing. Poor Kotetsu still didn’t get any credit after helping out in the end, but he did get the respect of his partner whom seem to have more faith in him now.
Gintama 214
Spoiler
R-18 time indeed, this episode had Jirochou and Gintoki causing a massacre of Kada’s forces, while Otose managed to convince the other parties into unifying their efforts to protect the Kabuki district. Gintoki and Jirochou manage to face off against each other in the end, but Gintoki doesn’t kill Jiro in order to keep his promise towards Otose’s husband. Some emotional moments, too, especially with Otose and Jirochou (with the latter regretting in not keeping his promise) and Pirako with her father. Good end to another serious arc.
tiger and bunny still isnt my cup of tea. i checked out hanasaku iroha where i left off and saw it till 13, its actually pretty watchable again. its not great or good, but still decent enough to follow. im also still following denpa but i dont get why exactly.
next season there might be 2 or 3 good series coming out (ig & bones). that gainax anime might be watchable too, who knows.
Should’ve dropped Denpa a long time ago. Nothing has happened at all. Meme is annoying as all shit too. I don’t get the hype at all. Erio is annoying, Ryuushi is annoying; they’re all annoying. Only tolerable character is Maekawa. The main character is only tolerable because he is boring as shit and that’s a HUGE positive when compared to Erio and Ryuushi. Oh, Meme’s mother/Erio’s grandmother is the shit, though.
