Sket Dance 11

Our first arc arrives! This one’s about a tournament set between the Sket Dan (+ Shinzou and Yabasawa, who forefieted because of her lost monkey) and the School Council related to a mobile avatar prize. Yeah, most prestigious prize ever, I suppose. :lol: So with the forfeit, Himeko had her try with her hidden talent cooking and managed to wow the judges and contests, but it was a simple omelet from the opposition that won the deal. At least she tried!

Then it ends up with a cliffhanger which features an armed battle between Shinzou and the ever stoic Tsubaki. I wonder if Shinzou’s sweet nutrition is going to last for long this time, though.

Denpa Onna 10

So the spacesuit girl turns out to be another weirdo (who exhibits some form of supernatural power, as seen in that pool scene) and her name is Yashiro. Doesn’t look like Makoto’s going to catch a break from all the strange people that are around him. :rofl:

that live action looks really wack. I was expecting the same character models for hoshi and the mayor from the ed credits. Whoever was responsible for the ending credits did a great job with live action cinematic.

with all the eureka 7 talk, i was tempted to go re-marathon it, finished up last night. after watching it so many times, it still makes me laugh my ass off, shed manly tears and gets my heart racing like it did when i first watched it…thats some good shit.

Only thing that really sticks out as a sore spot in E7 is Will and Martha dieing for like no reawson. Yeah they were just minor side characters but fuck that was pointless.

speculative thoughts on Hansaku

She is clearly the villain forcing him to wait and leading him on for the whole goddamn season only to realize eventually she’s gonna cut him loose once she jumps on the Tohru train and pushes Minchi offa it. I say Ko should move his ass on and get with that redheaded piece of ass, at least she’s upfront with herself. She’s also buddying up with Minchi only to get closer to her man and steal him away.

I hope the season ends with everybody moving on and realizing that Ohana is actually a manipulative little skank that will end up exactly like her mother.

Ohana is the kind of girl that weak willed guys tend to fall for. They’re all cute and innocent until they ruin the lives of whoever they’re around, which is exactly whats about to go down in Hansaku.

Am i the only guy watching this show thats disgusted by these kinds of girls? I wanna see Minchi turn back to her old passive-agressive self from earlier on and put Ohana back in her place.

Hanasaku 12 was good but seems that it’s over between Ko and Ohana.

Wow that is some serious hate dude. Also why is it that you think that Ohana is stringing him along still or something? They practically said goodbye to each other. I really HIGHLY doubt she would actually end up going out with Tohru by the end of the show. It’s just not going to happen lol

Hanasaku Iroha 12

Did you forget to notice that Ohana has been blaming herself with the way she’s been towards Kou recently? I won’t say that their relationship is over yet, but she’s not for a second trying to abuse him for her own reasons.

Otherwise, I’m a bit surprised with how her mother actually did come along to the inn by her own self. Sort of redeems her a bit.

Tiger and Bunny 12

Is it me or is the Jake/Kriem dynamic similar to that of Joker/Harley Quinn’s from Batman:TAS? For now, it looks like we got some kind of Cell Games thing going on with Jake challenging each hero at random. Sky High, Rock Bison and ultimately Kotetsu, who got beaten up REALLY badly and is hospitalized, didn’t manage to take him down. Barnaby’s up next, but I doubt he’d be able to do much considering Jake’s strength and how his own Hundred Power won’t be enough.

Gintama 213

Gintoki and co. get some back up with some familiar faces, including Hasegawa in a box Gundam and even the hard boiled detective from a few episodes back. We also get a couple of Hokuto no Ken references thrown here or there. :rofl:

Even Shinpachi gets some glory time when he actually smashes Pirako’s head on the ground. But that isn’t saying much, because it proves that she is that weak. :rofl: Turns out that the Haka is actually a captain on the Amanto’s Harusame and she intentionally started the rift between the other three to take over the Kabuki district. Of course, Jirochou knew that and eventually, with the Yoruzuya’s arrival at the scene, he and Gintoki face her army. Exciting times ahead.

so i got my sad on and decided to get caught up on 1 show. i picked ano hana.

first the characters:
yukiatsu has got to be the best character on the show. he’s got this gdlk anti-troll armor which lets him shrug off anything. get caught cross dressing? yeah that was a bad idea but im over it now. embarrass yourself in front of someone’s dad? lolz did u see that i fuckin own. sure he gets mindfucked sometimes and has mental problems (who doesn’t?) but he just takes the loss, adapts and comes right back like nothing happened. this nga too smart.

jintan is a scrub. if he played fight games he’d be the guy who’s like silently salty all the time and never seems to be having any fun. almost everything makes him go into that “hurk” gaspy mode that anime chars tend to get in when someone says some Real Talk. he also has no spine. yeah i hate this guy what a shitty protagonist.

poppo is a derp. he probably thinks wolverine is a deep and complex character.

anaru (lol) not only has the best nickname for a girl EVER (future JAV star right here) but is actually pretty hot in that tsundere way. too bad shes kinda socially inept and has confidence problems. i hope shes doesnt get screwed over too hard in the end though because shes a likable character…which probably means she has to get with scrubby ass jintan. smh.

tsurumi…idk i like her character (dry sense of humor owns) and kinda want to see her succeed too but most of her problems are her own damn fault + her new haircut sucks. you want yukiatsu to pick you but uhmmmm every time youre together you act like its a huge chore to be there no shit he’s going to pick anaru who is hot, dumb, and easily manipulated since YOU DONT SEEM TO BE INTERESTED. “hey lets go out for a drink” “naw im good gotta study”. bitch youre smart what did you think was going to happen? she wants to be in grand finals without going through pools, gtfo with that shit. still i guess she should get her wish b/c her character works well with yukiatsu (hell of a lot better than him and anaru).

tl;dr: yukiatsu is baller, everyone else is cool except for jintan who is a shithead.

menma this, menma that, omg everyone loves menma gets old real quick. shes not really good looking or even that likable. being sad and even feeling guilty cuz she died is ok, obsessing over her uhmmmmmmmmmmm no. it was okay when everyone was just feeling guilty over her death, but all the dudes (except poppo, duh) actually falling for menma made my face irl look like spirit jew’s avatar.

speaking of menma dying, i lol’d when she fell in the river AGAIN. then i lol’d again when jintan was all aaaaaaa halp where menma go??? the fuck are you scared of she cant die again…

so it was pretty obvious the fireworks wasn’t the real wish, and im guessing the real wish has to do with whatever menma wanted everyone to do and not tell jintan about that one day, but then she died before it could happen. what gets me is why it was even a shock at all to tsurumi and yuikiatsu (who knew about…whatever it was menma wanted) when the fireworks…didnt work as intended. theyre smart kids i think they could have figured out which one was more likely to be the real wish.

but yeah i wanna see tsurumi + yukiatsu and anaru + jintan at the end that would be so cute my heart would melt.
