creepy cross dresser probably isn’t 100% sane, but same deal; if somehow everyone decided they hated each other he’d still be okay. he’s smart so he’d probably end up going to some good school and becoming just another one of 398402983409823 worker drones in some large company. a little boring, but at least he’d be employed and have money to spend on whatever creepy hobbies he has. i don’t think you could fault this if you tried.

main character guy…do i even have to say anything. before he met all his old friends via ghost girl he was functionally useless. if they ever grow apart again (because of silly things like responsibilities!) he’s done.

Holy fuck winter season looks like balls. There’s like maybe 5 shows worth checking out.
This season was incredibly strong with a lot of quality titles, surprisingly. Guess, I can start catching up on older anime during the winter season.

Penguin Drum ending was garbage. Tried too hard to be deep and it was so fucking shit that you can’t piece anything together.
Winter season is looking pretty lack lustre. Got mad spoiled thanks to this seasons strong line-up. Another, BRS and Nisemonogatari for me along with w/e picks up steam.
Toradora BD special reminded me how much I missed and enjoyed that show. I liked the whole bento box motif they had going on, not to mention that it was just nice to Toradora crew again.
Speaking of bento boxes, kinda sad to see Ben-to end as well. Series did not disappoint at all and it was good to see the show avoid the common pitfalls of degenerating into a cliche harem. It was kinda like fighting games, the series tbh lol.
Un-Go ending was pretty good too. The show definitely picked up as it went on, most noticeably when they moved away from the intial episodic mysteries to longer and more relevant ones. Wasn’t really interested in watching the Un-Go movie, but after finishing the series I kinda want to now lol
Imma watching Bakuman II, havn’t watched eps 13 yet though but I’m getting pretty damn excited to now lol

I sort of expected this to happen ever since Takagi met up with Aoki, but I didn’t expect they’d shoehorn that other girl who had a crush on him there too. Sucks for Miyoshi, but Takagi better fix this up.

What is honestly going on with this show? Ever since Mephisto became good again, everything just seemed like it was contrived on the spot when it comes to the rest of the plot. Especially how Falsetto got magically powered up for no reason and finally realizes that he has the destiny to revive Noise.
Also, where Mephisto “sacrificed” himself to take up the evil energy from Bassdrum and Baritone in 43 to turn them back to their good selves. You didn’t go evil on purpose to begin with! You were brainwashed by Noise and those seashells stuck onto your ears. And even then, wasn’t there a chance that he’d be…you know, evil again? And that all the work the Precure went through was useless? Heck, even by the end of the episode, it seems that he wasn’t totally dead or anything either.
There was also the Cure Modules going back and forth in order to free the hostages which was sort of weird…but in the end, they gave them up (willingly?!) so that they don’t want anyone to get hurt. GG, Precures. Now Bassdrum and Baritone won’t get hurt, but the world is still going to be in sorrow because the Melody is complete and Noise is getting powered up again.
Well, there’s still a few more episodes to go…might as well see if they wrap this up properly. I hope.

Shitty writing, and EVERYTHING MUST FOCUS ON AKO
Yeaah, I don’t really understand this sudden fasicnation with the writers wanting Ako so desperately to be a part of the cast. At first she seemed like a minor character, but then Muse came in and her being it was as predictable as Ryu showing up in a Street Fighter game. I don’t think anyone managed to be shocked or surprised that she turned out to be Muse; and if they’re trying, they’re not really good at it. Otherwise, she’s just a wannabe tsundere that magically gets the spotlight to appeal to the kids demographic.
Bigger question. How did no one in Major Land recognize that Trio the Minor was the Three Musketeers of Major Land?
I can’t believe Ako, Aphordite, Ellen or Hummy even mentioned that they were part of Minor Land’s Musketeers (who were supposed to be well known heroes in the land! Unless they’re part of Mephisto’s secret band of heroes or something). Not one mention or even realization that they were controlled by Noise and are really good guys like Mephisito was. Totally out of nowhere, much like the 2nd half of the show.

They seem to have Ash Ketchum’s sense of recognition. And we all know how an amazing and deep character Ash is.
I honestly wouldn’t be so dependent of them “saving the world” to be honest. The Heartcatch Precure sure have their one-liners and all, but they’re not oblivious and not too stupid to give in things like this so easily.
Fuck Noise. Fuck those bird sounds. I dearly hope that these useless fucks kick his ass in dragon mode.
Yeah, there’s the thing - Why is Noise disguised a bird when he’s actually a dragon? You’d think they’d make him a tiny lizard or something, but a little bird? You could say it’s because it’s synonymous with singing, but dragons aren’t particularity ones related to that either.
Maybe the main characters outside of Ellen and Hummy won’t be such bad characters in the end! Hibiki is ok, but boring, Kanade gets about as much screen time as Alter shows up in this thread, and Ako is a lost cause.
You know, I honestly liked it a bit more when it focused on Hibiki and Kanade being at each other’s necks and then realizing how deep their friendship is. It gives them a more realistic approach on how friends sometimes be really are - sometimes you disagree with them on stuff and even argue about it, but you still trust and support each other in the end. Even Siren was more of an actual antagonist than the rest of the villains!
At least Smile is going to start in February!
Crossing fingers to have better main characters and at least good action fight sequences. Guess I’m spoiled from Heartcatch, but the ones in Suite are really, really low key and short.
Bakuman II eps 13

As soon as Iwase talked with Aoki last episode I knew she was going to meet up with Takagi through Aoki somehow. Didn’t expect it to be this soon in the very next episode though. But yea wasn’t expecting Iwase to be the big problem, figured it would’ve been more Takagi talking with Aoki instead. Then there’d be a love triangle with Takagi, Aoki and Miyoshi with Iwase added later on for the trapezium.
But what actually happened probably has way better impact really. I think if the show really decided to be fucking mean, Miyoshi would prematurely break it off with Takagi without giving him a reason why. That way Takagi doesn’t really get a chance to fix things before it breaks down and has to find a way to make it work again. Bakuman doesn’t really strike me to be that type of show though where they constantly abuse their characters for no good reason at all.
And it was good that Aoki is backing off from Takagi now before she gets in too deep. I still think her new editor is gonna play a bigger role later. He did state earlier that he was gonna make Aoki fall for him so we’ll see if anything ever comes from that i guess.
Oh yeah speaking of PreCure: Are all the series worth watching, or can I skip some?

There are a couple of series that have 2 seasons (I think that’s for the original series only?) but generally, it has it’s own set of characters. I haven’t seen much of it, but I did see Heartcatch (which was great) and watching Suite at the moment (which isn’t that great).
