Not sure if any of you have heard of it, but if you’re interested in mystery/murder shows, you should give Denpa Teki na Kanojo a shot. It’s only two episodes long. The creator is the one who made Kurenai, though the two shows are quite different from each other.
Also, I must be late as heck on finding out there are now 3 Madoka OSTs and an album with remixed versions. Randomly came across a song from one of the other OSTs and noticed I didn’t have it.
She pretty much becomes God and changes the very rules of the universe when it comes to Magical Girls. The timeline and universe are pretty much reset, and the cycle of girls turning into magical girls turning into witches is broken. Entropy is no longer a problem, apparently.[/details]
^Actually
since Magical Girls now fight demons instead of witches, the demons replace them. However demons do not give off as much energy as witches.
[details=Spoiler]with her wish was just give all Magical Girls a peaceful death that she so desperately wanted to provide them with. The battle between Magical Girls with grief and despair will still consistantly continue since the world will always contain some bitterness in it. The only major difference now is how all this sadness materializes and the form it takes. Before it manifested as witches from corrupting little school girls (no surprise there, Japan) Magical Girls by overwhelming them with grief; Now and I assume (since it wasn’t never really explained) the grief just naturally gathers itself together and eventually manifests as the new demons that they face.
So yea in the end Magical Girls get to finally RIP and they don’t have to turn into the very monsters that they’re fighting against now. Although they’ll still be forever trapped in an endless battle with the internet hate machine, which was probably an unavoidable cycle to begin with anyway.

What I still don’t get however is the damn epilogue.
Madoka Epilogue
[details=Spoiler]Homura’s witch-like wings is supposedly indicative of something but I’m not quite exactly sure what =/ And right before the end-credits she seems to be using what i think is Madoka’s bow and arrow rather than her traditional fire-arms and explosives.
I’m assuming Homura is harnessing Madoka’s powers somehow or something??? (witch-like wings + Madoka’s bow and arrow seem to indicate so).
I know I’m probably overthinking and looking too much into things or some shit like that since I wouldn’t be surprised if they just chucked it in there because “it’d look cool” and didn’t explain it because "they couldn’t find a proper justifcation to include said cool looking thing so they’re relying on the fans to fill in the blanks here*** “it’s meant to be open-ended and encourage fan interpretation”. But shit, they had to be thinking of at least something when they decided to add these elements in right? Somethink other than it looks cool and no one will notice anyway… =/*

On english Madoka:
They’re probably trying to market it the same way that the Japanese originally did it. Try to pass it off as a cutesy happy go-lucky type of show with flowers and rainbows everywhere. Except that didn’t actually work either because people saw Gen Urobuchi as the wrtier and despite his own effort in telling people that Madoka was a happy and heart-warming show before it aired, people just went *“Gen Urobuchi doing heart-warming? Get the fuck outta here, not believe that shit one bit even if the wideface artwork seems to suggest so, lolkthxbye”. *If it didn’t work originally then it’s gonna have an even harder time to work now with the english release since the cat’s already out of the bag for one.
But I guess if it even manages to troll one newbie dude then it’s done it’s job. Ga-Rei Zero still takes the cake for biggest troll ever though like Warpticon mentions. And yea all the girls do sound the fucking same apart from Mami in that english trailer. They should’ve just saved the money and got one person to do all the voices instead, actually make that two since Mami deserves her own voice actor
Madoka is not that deep, plz get over it children.
Edit: Randomly downloaded episode 12 of horizon to see how lame it still is. Lol at main charater spending 10 minutes trying to get a boob touch only to do it on accident. That was the major plot point of the episode.
No one is claiming Madoka to be deep, nigga. The ending is a bit ambigious, leaving it open to discussion. LET NERDS BE NERDS AND TALK ABOUT NERDY THINGS, YOU NERD.
LOL, I know, just making children feel stupid like any decent grown man should.
Man this Horizon show is so hilariously bad but it makes me sad to think shows like this will keep getting made because of the ppl who would rather buy visual novels over deoderant.
I’m hoping someone here can help me id an anime I ran across last year, but the plot may be a bit overused. Saw parts of the first episode, a female kitsune demon was trapped(?) somehow in a well or something like that at a shrine. At the end, she gets out when a demon comes after a boy at the shrine with I believe his brother, and she kills the demon. for some reason she decides to stick around and protect him. I know it’s a bit vague, but I only saw bits and pieces of it.
Sounds like Wagaya no Oinari-sama. Its a decent show, nothing special. Pretty easy to watch, not really that serious of a show and the episodes are pretty self contained.
