The funny thing is I googled what Sakuya Izayoi really looks like, I couldn’t tell because she also has a different color pallet and looks more like a maid. I have to admit I like the Sakuya “Soma” Izayoi version. In fact I think most of this art is based off those designs. At least the ones with Sakuya.

[details=Spoiler]I think it’s pretty clear that every diary owner is bat shit insane in this series, including Yukiteru. There doesn’t need to be that much logic behind people’s actions in this series other than they’re fucking bonkers. That said, Yukiteru’s decision making doesn’t really surprise me; he’s just as crazy as everyone else. I love the fact that he knew he dug himself a hole that he couldn’t climb out of by announcing that Yuno was his girlfriend. Let’s see how long this really lasts… and if/when shit hits the fan when she finds out he lied.
I’m not sure who you are referring to as “Shanked Girl”. Hinata? She’s not a real diary owner; her father was still the owner despite him giving her the diary. With Hinata’s father dead, I’d imagine his diary will cease to function. So we still have four known diary owners: Yukiteru (First), Yuno (Second), Keigo (Fourth), Minene (Ninth). The remaining three are still a mystery… and we’re only nine episodes into the series. Shit is about to get real, from what I can guess.
Akise was not part of the original twelve that were shown in the first episode. I doubt Deus would have some sort of mystery diary owner, so I have a feeling Akise is going to play a big role in the plot, despite not being a diary owner (he is in the ED, after all!). Makes me wonder how much of Evangelion influenced the author, since I see tons of similarities with Yukiteru and Akise compared to Shinji and Kaworu.[/details]
Overall, this episode fucking kicked ass. Once again, I was like the last panel of gaijin 4koma at the end of the episode.

So the Shinsengumi are ordered by Matsudaira to accompany the SHOGUN to a ski resort trip. Unfortunately, that as usual doesn’t go well from getting snowballed by Kagura to be treated as a snowboard. The rest of the crew meet up along the hijnks (even Katsura), crash into a far location and lose the Shogun. Now Gorilla is deployed to search for the Shogun, still wearing only his underpants. It can only get worse for them from here.

I like Shingeki no Kyojin, but the 4th volume is basically a large waste of time. Why the hell did it need to go into a flashback to reveal things about characters that didnt even have any real importance in the present before that point in the series? I already knew their motivations because it showed them to me already. Why spend a whole volume showing me these motivations again? Its pointless and doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Fuck, that’s what I hate about flashbacks in shonen manga. Actually that’s largely what I hate about flashbacks in anime and manga. They tend to not bring anything I cant figure out on my own or they do that bullshit with decently characterized antagonists to shove in some last minute humanity to try to make you sympathize when they where already good enough just being evil so it just looks like some sort of warp zone sequence to a time when the bad guy wildly broke character.
Working!! was gone full stop into “fuck you kenuran” mode. Its got to the part of the show where Inami just has to take over fucking everything. Just die already. The show was so much better because of the director change. Everyone else was getting more focus and the show felt much less like a 4koma adaptation and more slice of life-ish. But god fucking shit they just cant get around the Inami parts because thats what happened in the manga. Fuck I hate this character so much. Why couldn’t Yamada’s brother just kick her ass?

The tits are garbage. But the doujin was by chiba toshirou and he is awesome, and the story seemed interesting from the doujin, so I checked it out and it IS interesting. So interesting that I’m adding the mangaka to the list of people I want to fuck.

Somehow Oh Great threw in an Obama wannabe, Clusterfuck of technobabble which I’m sure he pulled out of his ass, and the 99%. Yea you read that right. Somehow the villian is doing this for the 99%. Which makes me wonder why some mangas don’t just stay in their niche. It was cool when it was gangs with high tech rollerblades, but going out and making DBZ battles is hardly the first thing I thought when I read the first couple chapters.
