The manga would make it boring, but the anime does throw in things that you would need to know the whole story to be able to understand so I guess it’s not a complete loss like death note. The anime is very good at making characters look mentally insane, and it’s not overdone, some of the characters are really crazy and they have the right to be, especially the current Yuno.
at Beelzebub and Street King Fighter 4, I wonder if it could be a hint at a new Capcom vs SNK game coming up.
I didn’t expect an anime like Ben-to to be interesting. Then again, food is serious. I don’t know what I might do for a boxed meal if I were poor but I’m pretty sure RockB has drop kicked a chick a time or two so Ben-to isn’t too far off, aside from the “normal” school kids with the DBZ fighting and all.
C3 is also better than expected. It’s annoying to have anime focus on lolis or fan service so often but some of the abilities are pretty cool and Fear’s sword is awesome.

SJ was talking about the anime and I said “The manga would make it boring.” I did not say the manga is boring. “It” references the anime so the sentence translates to “The manga would make the anime boring.” Anime isn’t usually as interesting to watch when you know what’s going to happen and why things are happening.
lol hit by a horse? Never mind the fact that the bitch getting killed ten years earlier would make everyone like 4-6 years old. I can understand the nuke part since almost every other girl in that show has two atomic bombs strapped to their chest, motherfucking suicide bomber!!! Show is a bunch TERRIBLE jokes(i say jokes but its mostly just cliche breast gags) strung together with some bullshit overly complicated story, horrendous pacing, bad dialog, and shit character design. Show really looks like Godzilla ate a bunch of other crap series and then shit this out a week later.
Meanwhile we got good old Future Diary around to actually help restore what little faith I have in the anime industry. I love how it tries to throw me off but I end up being right in the first place and I am sure the only rule of thumb in that show is that everyone is deliciously insane. Right up my alley.
Persona needs to do more to catch my attention cause I don’t even remember the last episode but atleast Guilty Crown and Ben-to are starting to pick up as retarded as those two shows are. If sega is helping out on Ben-to I want to see some awesome cameo’s. Show seems like an extended episode of Ranma 1/2 if all the characters were from Air Master.

C3 is like a mentally retarded version of another manga I was checking out a while back where everyone had chicks that turned into swords.
I love how when you read a synopsis and the first words are “An average high school boy…” You just get that nauseous feeling that you are about to be assaulted with all manners of stupidity and that the barrier spell you erected to protect yourself from it will do nothing to cancel out the permanant damage you are about to receive.
I’m far more willing to put up with shit like that in manga form. There have been anime I’ve dropped and looked if it had a manga version.
You have decent grasp, but let me summarize some other important points you may have missed:
Horizon up to ep 6
[details=Spoiler]As you already see, Musashi is under opression by the Holy Alliance (led by K.P.A Italia). Then there is Mikawa, which is technically part of Musashi but treated as an entity of its own, and serve as an area of great interest for Holy Alliance for political, industrial and economic reasons. Since Mikawa is considered an important outpost for the Holy Alliance to keep Musashi under control, residents of Mikawa are exempt from some of the rules that limit the powers of those residing in Musashi (such as political and military participation being limited to students of 18 years old or younger). This is the reason why Tadakatsu Honda is still allowed to be a military personnel despite his old age.
Motonobu Matsudaira created the eight Taizai Busou (or ‘Weapons of Great Sin’) and distributed them across various states as a way to maintain power balance between them. Then Motonobu staged the self-destruction of Mikawa, which he had been planning for years as the first step of a plan to liberate Musashi from the impending reign of Holy Alliance for generations to follow. The destruction of Mikawa is not part of planned history in the Holy Scripture (the book of history according to the Holy Alliance), which would introduce uncertainty in the Holy Alliance’s plan to recreate the world before the great disaster. So Tres Espania, which was originally in the region to monitor the activity of K.P.A Italia, tried their best to stop Mikawa’s destruction. Futayo Honda, despite being Tadakatsu’s daughter, maintained neutrality and did not direct her unit to fight Tres Espania because she understood that Motonobu’s action was in heavy violation of rules, and her showing allegiance to Mikawa would threaten the well-being of Musashi as a whole.
In middle of the chaos, Motonobu revealed that P-01S was the ninth Taizai Busou and inherit the soul of Horizon Ariadust, Motonobu’s daughter. Horizon was widely believed to have been killed after getting run over by a chariot 10 years ago, but it seems that there was a lot more to it that is yet to be revealed, as the nine Taizai Busou were all created with different emotions of Horizon. So although P-01S is Horizon, she is not complete because the rest of her soul is present in the eight other Taizai Busou.
The Taizai Busou holding incredible power is actually somewhat vaguely explained by why Kazuno is far more powerful than other cyborgs or the Bushin (the gigantic robots piloted by humans) as well – as Taizai Busou and Kazuno are both forged with fragments of human soul. Kazuno inherits the soul of Tadakatsu Honda’s deceased wife, and can use gravity manipulation similar to the spells she used.
While Mikawa destructed, Motonobu hinted that the Apocalypse is impending as a result of history not following the Holy Scripture, and that the only way it can be prevented by collecting the nine Taizai Busou. Naturally, no state is willing to let go of the strongest weapons ever created, so naturally a wolrd war is about to take place. P-01S is incarcerated by Tres Espania after Mikawa destructed and was ordered to be killed within 12 hours. This is because with P-01S revealed as incarnation of Horizon, she is essentially Motonobu’s daughter. With Motonobu dead, she is next in the political hierarchy to take responsibility for Mikawa’s destruction. This works in Holy Alliance’s favor because they see it as a way to not only terminate the last line that separated them from absolute rule of Musashi, but destroying the ninth Taizai Busou would help prevent an impending world war.
So in essence, Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon started as a story in which its initial premise was for Toori to confess his feelings to the love of his life – then it turned into a saga in which he must retrieve the eight other Taizai Busou in order to restore Horizon’s memory and save the fate of the world at the same time.[/details]
God that sounds about is good as Transformers fan-fiction. So where do all the boobs and ass grabbing come into play in this s…saga? I love the amount of dedication one has to put forth into convincing themselves that the shows is anything other than preteen shit. Well whatever, kids gotta enjoy their crap shows every now and then I suppose, kinda like how I actually liked Ninja turtles when I was a retarded 8 year old with no concept of literary prose in all of its intricacys.
Merely being mesmorized by flashing lights and adult like concepts was enough for me as it is for some of you today. Can’t imagine liking shit like that in high school, unless it was just blantantly about violence and t & a. This whole trying to disguise shit shows with these stupid plots like what was the shit Qwaser or whatever is starting to get old. But as long as Japs keep reaching into their pockets to grab semen incrusted yen, we will never see an end to it.

I was responding to Negro Ninja cus I know he watches the show and try to understand it more. I had a lot of trouble understanding what is going on until the pieces starting to fall into place in episode 4.
I could care less if you don’t like the show. I’m only following three series this season, and like Horizon the most out of them all so far. But I don’t see why you gotta be so adamant to a point where you keep ranting ‘boobs, boobs, fanservice, boobs’ to amuse yourself when I was just explaining plot points to another person and wasn’t even responding to you. Yes, there are boobs. A lot of anime has boobs. What male doesn’t like boobs? But I think you might have something to think about yourself when boobs are all that comes to your head.

Watched episode 3 of Horizon. Show is still ass. I’ll accept the fact that the show may be hard to follow if you don’t know Japanese history (giant enemy crabs) since anime is geared toward a Japanese audience (even though they probably don’t give a shit about the heavy use of Japanese history), but making an anime that pretty much appeals to only the people that have read the original light novels? What? Even if they didn’t, they’d probably have to read footnotes on the show’s website to help follow the show. That’s just shows that the show is poorly written and executed. Unless the anime was specifically made for those that had read the source content, there should not be a need to have viewers go read footnotes on the show. It seems like a show like this has such a limited intended audience that it should not have even been considered for being animated. Bad show is bad. It’s not even the good kind of bad that you can laugh at. It’s just bad bad. Honestly, the show would actually be watchable if it were just a titty show.
yeah the surprise factor is kinda taken away from having read the MN manga, but it’s still that good.

That is another shit show that has to throw in all these lame historical references to take away from the fact that you are watching a program whose whole premises revolves around little girls flying around half naked. So guys can be like “OMG did you know that the Red Baron was a PILOT” and he too liked the thought of smashing tween hymens until there was nothing but a crimson smear left inbetween their legs!!!
Juice: The first episode was kinda good bad in the fact that I was lauging my ass off at all excessive anime shit that was thrown into it. It was like a parody the likes of Project Ako but it was totally serious. That is how bad this shit is.
Orka: Lol, that reminds me of a post some guy wrote last week about the show. Lol at explaining the obvious as if there was any confusion in relation to your take on the show itself. Why whine at me poking fun of the show dude, those it really bother you guys that much that you had to post explanations, the first of which was clearly directed towards me.
