watched first ep of persona 4…its the game…word for word alot of the time…its a must see for those who played P4 or want to get into it…still waiting on fate/zero and shana…

I pretty much had goosebumps the entire time while watching Persona 4 episode 1. It was done perfectly imo. Between P4, chihayafuru, fate/zero, Phi brain: Kami no Puzzle and Bakuman II this season is already off to a super strong start.
Never played Persona 4 but 3. The anime so far is spot on to the style and music. Can’t wait for episode 2.

What the hell is a two-cour schedule?
1 cour schedule = 13 episodes aka 1 season. In some cases, it may be 11 or 12 episodes.
2 cour schedule = 26 episodes aka 2 seasons. In some cases, it may be 24 or 25 episodes.
Most people in the past thought that a usual anime runs for about 26 episodes and is regarded as 1 season; and a 52 episode series is regarded as two seasons - but apparently this is not the actual case.

A cour is just one quarter of a year. Its a unit of measurement for the length of a single season. Its a Japanese slang term.
If its a Gundam anime, it will run for one 4-cour season. A whole year.
Ranma 1/2 had seven 2-cour seasons.
Horizon is going to be 1-cour this season with another 1-cour season airing next spring.

Kenichi mangaka is one of my favs just because of chapters like that.
Persona 4: Freaking love this show already. I really like how they’re integrating the game aspects into the show so far. I literally laughed when I saw the calender pop up. Such good memories. The one thing I am curious about is how they’re going to fit a huge game into a 12 episode series. Even if they had 24 episodes, it’d still be tough. I’m guessing most of the social links with the side characters will be dropped to focus only on party members.
Fate Zero: Another show that has a ton of promise. I’m interested to see what happens with Saber in the next episode since I always wondered how Fate deals with the Arthurian legend. Also nice to see some development for lots of the main players.
Definitely going to keep up with both of these shows.

ok watched P4, I mean… it’s P4 there’s no way i’m not gonna enjoy it, but i still think it was well done either way. using the game music was a good idea, and the end of the episode got me hella hype. is it really only 12 episodes? shit is gonna be bare bones as hell. =/
I thought the pacing was too fast.
Some RPG elements (sound effects and character shticks like I HAVE TO PEE) do not fit well in the anime format. Or at least it didn’t work out for me in the first episode. Here’s hoping succeeding episodes will be better.
Fate/Zero didn’t fail to impress. Awaiting Guilty Crown and Mirai Nikki.
I think that’s Ms. Deep (in disguise) from Read or Die. Been years since I’ve watched that one, but I’m pretty sure that’s her. What tipped me off was her purple hair and the books in the background. I’m serious. I know, like those things are totally unique to Read or Die :lol:
In addition to all the great stuff already noted about P4, I really like how the show’s artwork is pretty faithful to the Persona illustrator’s style.
He should just make ero-manga already.
