How long do you guys think that saturday’s sf4 tourney would be? How long was it last year and how many people entered?
Just wondering so i’ll know how to organize my time there if i decided to go.

Ok, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be there if they don’t sell out of Saturday passes at the door. I’m in for SF4 and MBAA… anyone want to team up for the 3v3?

Just to be sure here, you have to buy a day pass to the event if you want to play in the tournament? I’d go but just to play in the tournament and therefore wouldn’t want to pay 30 bucks or whatever.

a Day pass or a weekend pass. keep in mind its not just for a tournament. Anime Boston is one of the premiere conventions in the North East. it is quite an amazing sight. The Massive Hynes Convention Center is setup almost top to bottom with events, panels, video rooms, our gaming space is 37,000 square feet…O_O
We have a ton of gaming setup on the side for casuals and there are fantastic concerts going on throughout the weekend. Anime Boston for $30 is one of the least expensive and most packed events you can get - we love their pricing because of all you get, and if you are a collector of anime or gaming products, toys movies, etc. they have 50,000 sq ft of vendor and exhibitors space…its HUGE…
So make sure when you look at that price you realize its not just for a tournament…its much much more.
We are here and will be setting up tonight and then hanging out in the hotel hot tub tonight…HOT TUB- GET IN DA WATTA!
Plank is also making adjustments to the Smash Tournaments we will update them and print this out for the weekend and post it on the smashboards as well. Thank you guys!

Ah this is true. I was just informating Bja Eh what he was in for because I think he’s only interested in the tournament and not really in the convention.

asiantom, do you want to team or no? I’m just asking random people on srk because I don’t really know any people IRL who are good at SF4 so I figure people here would be a bit better.
Also, I heard that you have to use default controls for tournaments. Can we not have this as a rule please?
