I think that’s a Red Ear Snapper.

niggas gotta eat.

Yeah, snapping/alligator turtles are serious business. If you see one and approach it, and it doesn’t tuck into it’s shell…just back the hell away. It doesn’t like you, it eats meat, and it doesn’t give a fuck.

I’m glad these mofos arent human size.

damn what a jerk

The scary part? They USED to be. But that was before homo sapiens. A really big one was found last year though: 62lbs.

yeah i read about that. think it was the one with the sabre tooth.

no snapper blood in that guy. it’s a red ear slider. he is quite the goldfish hunter though.

Well I got 2 of 3 words in its name correct… :frowning:

Why? Are dolphins known to be violent around naked people? Sorry if this is sarcasm, I’m bad at reading that on the net. And I’m also kinda gullible.

EDIT: Nevermind, I went back a page. I know what was being alluded to now. O_O…

images of a whale shark

In the second image are those its kids hanging onto its back?

That first picture - it would be absolutely terrifying if the diver got sucked into the whale shark’s mouth.

The whale sharks actually incredibly docile. [SIZE=4]Its sucking in thousands of plankton in those pictures but you cant see them because they’re so small.

animals are sweet but

i can ride a bike forwards AND backwards

I always wondered about how terrifying it would be if whale sharks were meat eaters. Though I guess for something of its size it would be hard to find and eat enough meat to keep it going.

If he had been sucked in the whale shark would have just spat him out. Whale sharks are filter feeders which extract plankton/tuna and other small creatures from the water they suck in.

Whale Sharks are so dopey and cute, I just wanna hug one. ^_^!

Large sea creatures scare me, even if they are filter feeders.
It’s because of the unknown element of water, and also because I’m a terrible swimmer.
