Anyway, it’s an excellent idea! Arg, I want a Married… With Children comic, an Arrested Development comic, a Black Donnellys comic, a Beans Baxter comic, etc.

I miss Arrested Development.

The art in Angel isn’t too bad in my opinion. (Compared to the crap that appeared in Wolverine a few issues back.) Seriously. Why did Logan look the same when he was in the 1930’s ? And Tony Stark and Dr. Strange are twins ? XD .

Back on topic. I recommend any Angel/ Buffy fans give this a look over.

Illyria was hot as hell in the show. My first and only “fantasy” crush… since she isnt really real like that.

How did Angel turn into a vamp? Who else felt weird originally getting into the show?

He was sired by Darla. Darla is the vampire that gives birth to Connor. They talk about this mainly in Season 1 of Buffy in the episode “Angel”

They started a book called “Spike: after the fall” also. I havent cracked them open as yet though, still have it at home in the plastic

Wesley’s death was sad, but in a way suicide, he should have prepared himself better for his last fight.

But Gunn, damn whats happened to him is just crazy. Angel has failed every human he has worked with. The man has balls but he is a horrible leader. Gunn as a vampire is surprisingly good

I missed the boat on this series, will probably have to wait to get the TPB. Liked the first issue since that’s all I’ve read.

It’s a bit different from the Buffy series in terms of feel. A lot darker and also the dialogue is a bit more confusing at times. But overall it’s enjoyable. They’ve launched a spinoff limited series in Spike: After the fall. Final issue of that one came out today, but I haven’t read it yet.

It’s too bad this series is done by IDW and Buffy is done by Dark Horse. That really hinders the chances of a crossover between the two. Kinda like when WB had Angel and UPN had Buffy for the latter years.

Also now that I think about it… Buffy Season 8 happens during Angel Season 5 so Angel: After the fall is taking place after Buffy Season 8 so a crossover wouldn’t really work out yet.
