Hello, I would like to know if you were able to fit the hitbox pattern on a quanba q4 plate please ?
I tried to check by merging a Q4 and hitbox pattern on photoshop but it seems the inner space of the Q4 (the plastic) isnāt big enough.
Used the Q4 RAF template from Focus Attack as the layout, then dropped the official HitBox layout from their own template into it and aligned it identically. Left the Qanba start button on the face as well. If you like this, it should be suitable for @B-boy Tekken to use. Template is 300dpi. All buttons are 24mm except for the Up button, which is 30mm.
Thatās what I did too at 1st, then printed it to check the position (I wanted to see if I could push it up a bit) just to find out the inner body opening of the Qanba is much smaller than the plate :
Although it looks like it fit in the last photo, the buttons edges go a little out under the plastic, which is bad for me since I want to use seimitsu screw buttons.
Only 2 things come to my mind :
cutting the plastic, but I would be afraid to break it since itās kinda sturdy.
having a more compact layout, but it might be too cramped.
Thatās more of a tech talk question, then - youāre very likely going to ned to do some dremeling. Iād put this all together in a post and shoot it to the Tech Talk forum, and see if anyone has experience working with the Q4ās limitations.
No worries, not in a hurry as I mainly wanted to know if you already had to deal with this setup and if so, how you did.
Like @RageousXā and @NENDOā said, cutting the plastic to make some space shouldnāt be difficult
Iām not certain yet that Iām going to go for it, but if I doā¦ would you be able to make a lexan panel for an atrox? I donāt think I saw any of those here, so you may not be doing thoseā¦ just thinking about making mine a six-button. Iām not sure how thick this current plexi is, honestlyā¦
