Ahhhhh, so it builds on the plexi? I was hoping the process was more of a removal of material than addition of material. Que sera sera–thanks.
@"B-boy Tekken" thanks for the relay today from FB -Bryan
Some questions:
For the metal and plexi, are they the same width/guage as the stock ones?
It looks like the universal stick mounting plate is screwewd in. Can you/do you ever do spotwelds like stock?
I.e. with one of these: http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/mounting-plates/1278-universal-arcade-joystick-adapter-plate.html
Or a stock one: http://www.focusattack.com/sanwa-jlf-p1-s-mounting-plate/
If I wanted to transmit you a digital/cad file for my custom button layout, what format/application is preferred?
Thx
-B
@archalien yes. My universal joystick mount ting plate is screwed into the metal panel. My panels are made out of 16ga stainless steel. .0625" thick. I didn’t want to have to match every single panel out there. 16ga is not to thin and not to thick. Just the right size.
The only spot weld I do is on the Madcatz SE/brawl cases. Since I can’t make matching plexi for the panels. I have the correct screws that I have spot welded to the panel. It gives me the correct height for the joystick. Now if you wanted spot welds so the the universal mounting plate isn’t screwed to the panel, a d you are to order the matching plexi glass, then the joysticks will not be at the right height. It will be dropped lower into the case with the difference of -.0625".
.0625 = 1/16" just to clarify. Its almost unnoticeable but there is a difference when spotwelding.
I do all my designing in AutoCAD. If you would like to submit a preferred button layout. Please send as a dxf. Version 2000. That would be perfect.
And as for the universal mounting plates from paradise arcade and focus attack. My plates are measured specifically to fit in each case. I don’t use the same universal plate on all my panels due to the inside housing of the arcade sticks. They are not all made the same.
Hope I answered all your questions.
If you have anymore questions. Please feel free to ask. Thanks.
You answered questions that I meant to ask the other day on FB. Look forward to ordering some panels and plexi.
Sorry to inform but I will no longer be able to cut any orders. I have lost access to my laser and will not be able to work on side jobs anymore. I don’t plan on taking anymore orders till further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you get up and running again. Good luck!
Sad to hear you aren’t taking orders anymore. Your panels are so nice. Wish I had one for an HRAP.
Absolutely gutted. I had at least three more orders ready to submit.
That’s too bad, hope everything is ok. Have anything already made that you’re trying to get rid of?
Does anyone have the .psd for a hrap panel with NOIR layout?
Sent you a PM…I see this thread has been dead for a while. I hope you’re still making these!
