If Trump really wanted votes he would just promise amnesty for any low tier illegal immigrants who break the law.

This is interesting. If you think about it, the whole bit about our military âdefending freedomâ is funny. The last time they actually defended our freedom was WW2 when there was a legit chance the Nazis could have taken over the world. But since then, every military conflict weâve been involved in has been something we started or got involved in when it seemed clear there were corporate interests at stake. The military is responsible for some of the greatest inventions ever, but itâs the âmilitaryâ part of the military that seems to fuck things up. Seeing the US military turn into more of a research and development branch of the government would be, to me, a more worthy use of all the money they get. Going out looking for conflicts to justify military spending seems dumb to me.

What does that have to do with the topic? A comment was made about how most of our ancestors came on boats 100 years ago. Which was false in my case. As theyâve been here since the founding of the country. Iâve never claimed to have fought the revolutionary war. But my ancestors did. A better rebuttal would have blindly guess that my ancestors then had slaves, to which i wouldnât be able to proof a case one way or another.
