Looking at their lack of growth can they really say that there wasnât an advance notice to their employees? Sames club market share is shrinking compared to costco. There stocks arenât growing as well as compared to Walmart and costco. Why wouldnât they be closing stores?

Sams Club closings had less to do with the tax reform and more to do with slumping sales. Why would Walmart continue to keep Sams Club around when they arenât pulling their weight? Sucks for the estimated 9,450 employees that lost their job. But that still doesnât off set the 1,000,000 employees that are getting raises and bonuses thanks to the tax reform.
There are some reports that show that the employees were notified, some where not. Many offered a transfer or a severance package. 10 of those stores are being remodeled to fulfillment locations. And most of the stores arenât closed yet, the closing date is Jan 26th. Definitely a drop on upper management to not have a unified way to notify the employees, and in some cases does violate the Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act. Sams Club and Walmart should be punished for such actions.

Human trafficking is real, no doubt about that. There was recently a bust in my city as well. Two women with a girl in tow used an Uber to drive from the south city into my city, and the things the women were saying to the girl, who looked underage or young, aroused suspicion from the Uber driver, who called police after dropping the three off at a nearby hotel. Police showed up and busted a sex trafficking ring.
Pizzagate is stupid as fuck though.
According to our governor and the head of the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, this false ballistic missile threat boiled down to âhuman error.â Our mayor and other political opponents of the governor are going in because it took 38 MINUTES to deliver an alert to the general public that the threat was an error. The EMA and other political representatives took to Twitter to announce it was an error just minutes after the message of a missile threat was sent out. It was so easy to send out a message but the whole process of sending out an official message stating it was an error to the general public was a lot longer and more complicated.
The FCC is now investigating this issue and I wouldnât be surprised if the EMA gets cleaned out and the entire process goes through a complete overhaul. This is a huge eye opener to everyone in Hawaii because a lot of people were not prepared and had no clue how fast a missile can reach our state. I saw people stuck in traffic rather than looking for shelter. There were people standing in line at grocery stores buying necessities (SOME WERE BUYING BEER LOL). A missile can take 15-20 minutes to reach our state and these people will still be standing in line and stuck in traffic when the missile hits us. Hawaii isnât ready for any type of man-made disaster like a ballistic missile. I hope other states are taking the necessary steps to make everyone ready for such a threat.
