It helps and hurts the league at the same time. They lose their most talented players but the fact those players are getting NFL opportunities will ensure they get a steady influx of talent. It may hurt the CFL though.

People brushed it off before and I honestly never understood why. âOh itâs funded for 3 seasonsâ but the expectation was to actually generate revenue for each one. Getting canceled halfway through probably fucked them a hell of a lot worse than people expected.

Yeah, if it was just the XFL they probably could have been ok, but with the WWE and all sort of business sponsors losing money, the three year plan may not be something they can afford.
