Is it OK to laugh at the Browns again? What am I saying, of course itās OK. Itās not like theyāre about to make the playoffs with this level of executionā¦
Iāll give Stafford credit (and Agnew because that was a fantastic return). He didnāt play amazing, but the dude pretty much avoided getting sacked about 5 times through very precise movement. He did what it took to avoid big negative plays, which ended up being the decider.
That being saidā¦the Lions were pretty much dominated in every facet in the game but literally everyone not named Carson Wentz or Malcolm Jenkins on the Eagles did everything in their power to lose that game. They finally succeeded in the end. If Iām a Lions fan, I feel relieved to get a win but nowhere near confident enough that theyāre a playoff team right now. They still have a ways to go.
As an Eagles fan Iām halfway between infuriated and just disappointed. I wish I could blame injuries, I wish I could blame the refs but I canāt. A multitude of opportunities pissed away and thatās been their story ever since the Super Bowl win. A team with a massive amount of talent, even though some of it is currently out, but they canāt get out of their own way.
