While I agree the way owners can cut out of contracts and demand money back is corrupt.
But AB is literally the poster child for why they want that power.
He has caused off the field problems since last year. Got himself kicked off the Steelers, then he seemingly engineered issues with the Raiders to get himself cut, maybe failed to tell the Patriots he was getting sued for sexual misconduct and while a Patriot sent intimidating texts via group in poorly written language which thanks to the previously released emails in the current case we know is his trademark. Players will talk about why MLB and NBA players get better deals and while it is on the owners and the NFLPA, AB with his BS (to a lesser extent Cousins if he stays pussy in big games with Minnesota) has given every owner reason why that shit is not going to change.

Thereās clauses in contracts for a reason. AB and his misconduct is a good example as to why teams have extra language in contracts when it comes to guaranteed money and signing bonuses. If AB knew that there were clauses that gave teams a way out of guaranteed money to players, than he and his agent shouldnāt have signed in the first place.
In the end, AB should have known the terms of the contract but he still went out of his way to act like an idiot. He did this to himself. Sadly, AB refuses to hold himself accountable for his behavior.
Things will change for the players if the NFLPA gets their way in the next CBA negotiating period.
