This game is full interesting little details. In the new video featuring Iron Man, Thor and Cap, Tony’s suit says “Avengers assemble.” I thought that was pretty. Hope they cram this game full of special entrances and dialog.
In that match where iron
man starts off against ryu, saying ‘Avengers Assemble’, what is Iron Man doing in
the air after launch? He finishes with d+e then dash, otg bombs xx proton cannon.
What I don’t get is how he gets in 5 or six hits in the air before the flying screen caused by d+e. Is this game like TvC where there are loads of command normals? Or is he linking, say, low, medium, low, up+hard, d+hard, d+e? I’m hoping someone that’s played the game can tell me what kind of inputs the air combos are consisting of.
On day 1 tvc most characters bnb air combos were something like low, mid, low, mid, dj, repeat, ender. What’s the equivalent here? You’d think it’d be low, mid, hard, exchange, right? But most characters seem to be hitting 6 or more hits before an ender on the vids of decent players/official vids. So what’s up? Are there plenty if air links, or is this gonna be like tvc where after a while combos feel like doing mvc2 cyclops infinite with hella directional command normals?
The Electrifying One, I believe that that combo was extended using a quick Fly and immediate Unfly, much like flying characters in MvC2, really.

I know RyRy was doing fly/unfly stuff during the Evo exhibition, but I guess the combo in this video could be something different. I guess I’ll have to watch the video again.
