Amateur Fighting Game based off of Les Miserables WTF

I’m downloading it now.

What the fuckever is this thing?

Looks kinda interesting actually…

Arm Joe is not very good. :stuck_out_tongue:

Why the fuck is it in Japanese for a musical that was originally French?

i am so on this shit

edit: this shit sucks you fag

Valjean does massive of damage of his shoulder ram, normals, and supers. Tenardier looks to be hilarious, and Police looks to be somewhat cheap. I still don’t understand what fireballs and lightning have to do with the story though.

Les Misrables sure as shit did not start as a musical.

I wonder if Victor Hugo is a secret character somewhere in there.

I was thinking along the lines of Fantine with Eponine AAA and “Master of the House” as background music and such.

OMG so much infinites.

Game keeps crashing on me, pity for such a crappy novelty game.

Wow…just…wow.

I’ve been playing this game for 5 minutes and it’s already broken. Tenardier has the easiest infinite ever: weak punch, weak punch, weak punch, weak punch, etc etc. Seems fun to just mess around with though. And Les Miserables? That’s a pretty awesome basis for a fighting game.

Edit: Eponine has a light kick, light kick, etc infinite too. Sweet.

Ponpon’s weak punch x n with assist is the easiest. I like Police’s wall infinte with heavy punch the best though.

rofl! man it doesnt get any better than this. Well…so long as people are pumpin out new fighters I could care less what it’s based on. Keep the inspiration goin.

It’s a shame that this game is so bad, because it’s hilarious and some of the characters (like Eponine and Thenardier) are actually quite interesting.

I see nobody’s mentioned Police’s shoryuken super infinite yet. He basically owns the game for free. If Javert could build meter at ALL, he’d be fine, because his level 3 super does about 80% chip damage.

Anyone wanna list all the moves?

Eponine rules. Standing light kick x infinity infinite, standing light kick hits low, and she has a great Makoto-like dash to get right in close very quickly. Plus that lightning, um, hairpin keeps them in place for a while so you can run up and start infinite-ing, and that hop-up kick thing sets them up for a juggle that doesn’t end until they’re dead. Even her fierce wall-bounce sets up the infinite. AND you can control her jump, so you can jump forward and then go right back if you see the opponent is gonna try to hurt you. Eponine > you.

You want to know the stupidest thing about this game? There is a way to flip out of combos, which I found out by the CPU doing it to me, and myself doing it a couple of times by mistake, however I’m not sure how to do it still. You’ll know if you flipped out because your character will flash green for a short amount of time. The good thing about it is that you can flip backwards or forward, but the bad thing is that this thing doesn’t seem to have any invinciblity. So if you try to flip out of a combo when someone is doing a jab infinite or whatever, you’ll flash green and get smacked by the jab, and you’ll still continue to get hit to death by the infinite. But what is even more gay is that there is an alpha counter in the game, which you can do by blocking an attack or series of attacks, and then you press forward which does an attack that launch your opponent into the wall. So if you have a character that can do infinites where you opponent is in the air, or a damaging combo, this tactic is broken because you can potential die off of your opponent blocking your attack. And the best part is that alpha counters cost no meter at all to use.

Most characters seem to have infinites anywhere. Besides the jab infinite that I posted for Ponpon, I have found a better one that kills your opponent quickly since it seems the game doesn’t have good damage scaling. Here it is.

Call baby assist (qcf+ weak kick), then get the baby infront of your opponent (by dashing, heavy attacks, whatever). Then hit and mash on weak kick on your opponent and walk forward so that PonPon can get close enough to hit the opponent with heavy punch. Then keep on mashing weak kick until you get in range for heavy punch and hit with it. Repeat this until opponent is died.

I haven’t played Eponine much so I’m sure if she’s the best, but she’s got a lot tricker like you said already, plus her diving normal attack is quiet fast and crosses you over, which might fuck you up into an infinite if she’s mixing you up good I guess. I don’t know but maybe you can AC that hairpin, but is hard to test on the CPU.

I’ve been playing this game more, since I don’t have any other fighting games in my apartment right now, and I found something new out. The combo-breaker flip out thing can be done even during infinites, leading me to believe that maybe this game isn’t quite as broken as I had suspected, although I still haven’t figured out how to do it. Also, the alpha counter can be done against projectiles and when a character is being juggled, he recovers instantly between non-comboing hits and can attack or block in the air, meaning juggles can be stopped.

Too bad there’s no move list page, there are some moves I haven’t figured out yet. Like Eponine’s healing super, for example.
