MvC2 Jill just didn’t make sense. She commanded zombies, zombie dogs and crows. Could summon a Tyrant and had a fireball dash/charge/thing? Where the fuck was that in RE?

it’s not impossible but not worth the time if your goal is “to be great at mvc2”
the top tiers can do what the low tiers can, and more. OTG sweep into launch into air combo? Iron man, War Machine, Magneto, Storm, Sentinel say hi. Why waste time with Fisher-Price “baby’s first combo”?
When I was learning MvC2 I would copy paste everything i could find about it and print it out. I believe it was Viscant or someone who wrote that learning mvc2 from low tier up was the wrong way to do it, since low tiers taught you everything you couldn/t do, as opposed to learning the god tiers and all their tricks and then regressing down to low and their limited shenanigans. Jill looks cool, I’ll give you that, but as far as playing her goes, you really aren’t going to get too much mileage out of her.

Nothing fun about spending lots of money to go to a tournament, getting pimp snapbacked into losers bracket (if there is one), than OCVed cause you’re playing a lousy team for kicks. No amount of scrub mentality is gonna make up for the costs spent on venue fee, entry fee, and travel costs if you don’t live less than an hour away. Also I find it hard to believe anyone would not try their hardest in a tournament of all places.

How did this topic turn to low tier heroes I’ve never deemed myself that, i just play who i like to play, and jill is just one character.
I play spencer in umvc3 who people are sayin is high tier now( even though at the beginning of this games release he was considered mid tier) because i like his play style, i not dropping him because he’s a good character and purposely playing bad ones. this thread is about one character i’d like to see in umvc3 people dont get that this isn’t even about mvc2.
no i havent been to a tourney in a fighting game but what does that have to do with how i play, i told him i would gladly play him anytime, and no matter what you say to make yourself feel better just like combofiend stated on crosscounter the dude who places 4th(which is out of the money0 is the first loser and still by definition another pot monster…
