4 was more like Alpha imo. Chun and Ryu are prime examples they wanted a 3s feel this time around.
This game feels much more like sf3 than alpha. Alpha had really wild aggressive hitboxes and quick recovering fireballs. Alpha encouraged you to IMMEDIATELY be the aggressor if you could. This game is more balanced imo.

I find this game harder as well, but that’s because I chose to master one of the hardest characters in the game, fang.

That’s not true… sometimes people spice in an overhead or throw.
I haven’t had too much time in this game yet. To sum up my thoughts with quick analogy, my Ryu now feels a lot like a Guile…
This Game actually forces you to get good at all aspects of offense and defense which is what makes it great. They even want you to use every button available, all 6 normals without neglecting any.
