I wouldn’t mind seeing something like this, kind of like a teaser alternate of what could possibly be to come in 2018(SFV).
As much as I’d like it if Capcom actually aged their characters up and made SF5 take place in modern day I think it isn’t likely to happen. They aren’t going to drastically change the designs of any character in the same way that Guilty Gear has with Xrd. Capcom is a little bit too conservative with the designs in that sense. I mean look at Alpha - 3rd Strike which canonically takes place 11 years apart (Alpha 1 takes place in 1988 supposedly and 3rd Strike is of course 1999)
At best they might make Ryu start graying on the sides a little like the did with Akuma in 3S where he got 2 little streaks of white to show. I doubt they’d make SF5 Ryu lose his iconic white Gi

Hmm I agree though the only I suppose they would do it would be a spinoff game like Street Fighter: Next Gen or something like that. I have always had ideas for that. I would imagine Zangief would be tsar by then and he would be in a suit.

For Poison, I think her pirate outfit will look amazing, but her military outfit from SFxT wasn’t bad either. Wouldn’t mind to see this costume in USF4. 
I want good alts or very interesting(unique), regardless of serious/non-serious, comedy or whatever. Just has to be fitting to the character imo.
