Do you think some RIC ppl will come down? **Sign up in the thread, so I can get a list, even if your not 100% you are coming, if you have in intrest, just sign up **so maybe some out of state ppl will come!? I’m not sure how big ppl are about console mvc2 tournaments tho… but we’ll see…

I am #1 now (in Sc2, this week atleast -_-), there was a weekly in Va beach on friday night, and I won it, there was like 17 ppl there! It was crazy!

Jermaine- We are doing ranking tournies in Va beach EVERY WEEK for sc2. You should do them at dans house on fridays or whatever… That is the best way. This way it will promote more comp.

Dont matter to me. Dan’s back on his regular work schedule, so every friday isnt a definite. My house is always open for play. But, whatever. Just let me know who ownz bonez and ill post it.

After leaving an ‘interesting’ MvC2 session with Magnus, I got in my car and pop in DJ GT Voices of Trance(Light) and proceeded home. Missed my exit to take interstate back home and headed towardsa Va beach my accident. Did i turn around… no… I just kept driving and driving… why… cause i was doing a lot of thinking… the music and the mood kept me driving and driving for about 45 minutes east instead of west.
This is what ive come to say. Im serious about playing MvC2. I dont know about everyone else out there, but i dont travel to tourney’s ever other month just to say i was there. No, i play to get better. I want to get better, and ill keep trying to get better.
Fuck all you haters out there that’ll probably say marvel is gay and no one plays and blah blah blah, your jsut a whisper in the back with nothin to do but hate on others. Play your game, and ill play mine.
As far as SOVA goes, its like this.
Dan/Sprack/Magnus… I dont know if you guys are as serious about playing as I am. Let me know. As far as the rest of SOVA is concerned, i dont know if anyone south of us plays MvC2. People say the SOVA ranks are furked up, but im starting to realize that its not really, that’s how it is in SOVA. Just the way i posted it. If you still play and think we are full of shit, then prove it. Post up. Get games with us. PLAY!
NOVA(Omar/Shamy/etc…) You guys up there are supposedly the best in VA right now. If you guys are stil into it, I(we) come up there a couple times a month or whatever to play with you guys. A little bird told me that playin with you NOVA guys will help out with the game. However, if yall arent into MvC2 anymore, then disregard my post.

Also, me and slogan are undefeated in gunbound 2on2, anyone who wants to accept challenge, put up money/andor av items. 
I agree with this all the way. Its cool chillin all the time and playin casual games, but I think its time we took the next step. Even though marvel is an old game…I still want to get better at it.
You can take jermaine for an example of how someone gets better from who they play and how often they play. When he first started it was spider/doom/(random) which couldnt cut it against me and shawns cable/sent/cap. But he started gaming with us more and dropped the spidey team and went with MSP. After a while just started beating shawn most of the time, beating brandon most of the time, dan most of the time, and when me and jermaine played some serious matches the other night…went around 25-15 me. This just shows that who you play has a big impact on how your game is. So us driving to richmond and playing them couple times a month wouldnt be a bad idea if its cool with the richmond guys. <3 Jermaine
And even if you dont want to get better at marvel and head to richmond with us if we go or other tournaments…im always down for some casual games. Just call me up .
richmond doesn’t play at all anymore, like once every 2 or 3 months, but if you guys wanna come up we could play.

I still think you’re an idiot for thinking I blew up your post becasue I definately didn’t. You deserved everything that I said to you and a whole lot more that I didn’t say. There’s no name calling, no insults, nothing like that in my post, but yet I’m the one blowing up posts while you’re calling me an idiot and telling me to go places like you’re hot shit or something. I appreciate how you want to get good at the game, and how you’re so passionate about it… But it’s just sad that there’s a long road ahead of you if theres even a road at all. Even if you do practice your balls off… There’s no one around here (Not even Richmonders) who can get you to the level where you need to be to actually contend for a decent amount of money. The skill gap is too large now. Sorry dude.
About that challenge, I’m not going all the way out there for a 10 dollar bet… Maybe I’ll come out to Dan’s crib sometime and we can play. Maybe a tournament? 20 dollar entry fee winner take all? That’s what we used to do back in the day, but w/e…

i was JUST like this before u came here… every1 knows that i was so serious about the game, it was all i did, and i mean ALL… but when it came down to it i realized i cant get better, because our skill level around here is only so high… but i respect the fact that u wanna get better, but gl hf :}
I knew this was coming…
You guys all know that I’ve been trying to get better. I’ve even dropped the bigmen teams (sorta) for newer stuff. Cable, Storm, Sent/Capcom…I’m picking up on all of this (a little at a time), and it’s pretty fun. I only have one request from anyone of you that still wants to play. Fucking teach me the right way to do it(Cable, Storm…etc.) For the past 2 or 3 weeks I’ve been trying to play storm, and everytime I do the room is silent. At the end of the match it’s like…awww nice try or some shit. fucking tell me what I’m doing wrong. Talk about the stuff that seems so basic to you, but is over my head at the moment. Strategy, combos, crossups, all of it. I wanna get better, even if it means giving up on my “best” teams …for the moment.
Jermz…you know you can always count me in for the tourneys. I’m happy with just being there, but eventually …well…you never know.
To anyone else, I’ve never turned anyone away that wanted to come chill at my place and get some games in. Everyone is more than welcome to come.

Bring Sprack too…but I think that you need to realize that you will not get better w/o traveling NORTH…trust me…dont go south. Everything below VA sucks till you hit Florida. And majors…dont skip any majors…go to ECC…I would say go to Philly but UP is dead…and fuck console. But anyway…come on up to RIC anytime…
