The Blockbuster closest to me didn’t have it but they SUCK anyway, don’t have SF cards even. Going to call up the better Blockbuster that has the SF cards.
And my preorder is nowhere in site when it supposedly ‘shipped’ last week…
PS: Blockbuster exclusivity blows if EVERY Blockbuster can’t have all of these SF Related Products. Blockbuster get your ish together…
The Blockbuster I called that has the Street Fighter cards said they don’t have the new Anime and don’t have any on order. I hope this in not a case of New York City getting the shaft… again…
So I just have to sit back and continue waiting on my pre-order for now…

well, i dont know about you guys, but my best buy store here already gotten the Alpha Generation movie. i would buy it, but its only 45mins long and was selling at $19.99 price tag so hell no, i aint busting out $20 for a 45mins movie even if its street fighter. i guess ill have to download it, but go ahead people and spoil the Generation movie for me cause its gonna be awhile before i watch it.

The bad - Character Designs, Fight scenes, CGI Effects.
The good - Story and characterizations. Music and seiyuus were pretty good too.
I’d give it a 6 out of 10.

i thought the story was pretty good too, and the 45 min length was appropriate.
i thought akumas voice was pretty bad though.
this is my favortie street fghter animation, its just annoying that none of the movies have nothing to do with eachother, but i guess thats capcom for ya.

i dont know if all the negative hype lowered my expectations or what, but I actually liked it. The english voice acting was unbearable so I flipped it to the subbed version.
PRO:
I liked the music, I thought the story (canon or not) was best one out of SF animes by far (which is not saying much), and I was surprized that I actually liked sakura, she wasnt annoying as hell here (actually she was annoying at first but then she was ok). The anime created a good tone/mood I thought. The figt scene animation was inconsistant but they had their moments that gave me goosebumps, beleive it or not (the most notable sequences being on par or better than those in SF2 animated movie IMO).
CON:
The CGI effects were so jarringly out of place in parts, it just ruined alot of scenes.
Some of the fight sequences were awkward. There was also a drastic drop in animation quality at a certain point when Ryu became satsu no hadouish vs gouki.
Some the the character designs were also shitty imo. Gouki/Gouken’s master (was it Goutetsu?) comes to mind here.
Afte peeping the dubbed version i realized the subtitles werent all that great some points were missed or not tied together as well (still liked subbed version 100X better).
Overall, i liked it:
not having buyers regret.
($17.99 at walmart)
*By the way my favorite animes include iczer-1, devilman, grapler baki OVAs among others so not many people agree with my taste in anime.
