Alpha Anthology *Capcom for the motherfucking WIN*

You are either kidding, or you have been living under a rock for quite a few years now. The home versions of A3 included Fei Long, Dee Jay, and T. Hawk.

they were in all the console versions of A3
thats the hyper sfa select screen not the alpha3 select screen which is why they are there

I only had the PSX version and I don’t recall them being in it, or I just smoked to much weed.

Has there been any news regarding the “Shadoloo Ism” or parrying?

Curious- what do the arranges do- allow you to config options like 3S does? That would allow me to fix the crap that was in the Alpha series. What I’m hoping is to bring the A3 chars into A2 system, with no customs

There will be a dipswitch board like the Darkstalkers Collection, but those seem more aimed toward enabling or disabling various glitches and other nuances rather than letting you change the basics like 3S’s System Direction.

The main point of the arranges, however, is the expanded rosters. For example, A2G arrange will have Cammy like the home port did, and A3 arrange will have all of the console characters (Dee Jay, Fei Long, T. Hawk, Guile, etc.). The non-arrange versions are the arcade originals.

Holy shit, I can’t even get Winkawaks to do infinite life properly. If you pull this off I’ll definitely buy it.

You had to unlock them in the PSX version. Maybe you should have spent less time smoking up and more time in World Tour mode.

Or hell, smoke up and play at the same time. I know I really get into the zone after a few shots of Crown Royal (or eight or nine).

Let’s see some more screen shots and more real information from anyone who has got the game .

indeed, agree w/ parryall

Won’t be for another few days, right? At least 4 more. But I know I’ll be watching until then.

Very good…very very good CDL…you point out some very good points indeed…I surely hope that you are right…

Or kinda not bc it would be cool…but if not I got my SNK games to play with extras galore…so its all good…

Let the debate begin…fake or not fake???

Well, I would assume that the title screen for “Hyper Street Fighter Zero” would have English text because Capcom U.S.A. now owns the rights to the Street Fighter series.

Also, how would he have a picture of the disc?

He has a note above the game addressed to a person in a thread. I dunno how he could better throw in something to prove he has it unless he also threw in todays newspaper or something.

Ok, The zangief thing? You could pick CE version Gief in A2’ which resulted in him having no super meter. Also, Ryu and the background are A1… but it has A3 “no guard meter” and Gief period.

Dan vs Cody can’t be A3, because Cody has an Alpha 2 bar, and no guard meter (A3 absent meter) and an A2 background.

Only way I see it being fake is if he’s photohopping the whole works of it, but even then… He still has a copy of the game IMO.

Just to refresh your memory. Zero 2 Alpha lets you play certain characters as their super street fighter incarnation. That Grief happens to be in that form so he doesn’t have a super bar.

EDIT: He just owned you, too. Now stfu

I rarely ever say this…but…OWNED.

That just proved CDL completely wrong :wonder:

Japanese games frequently have a suprising amount of English. This has been happening for YEARS, even before Capcom USA got the rights to SF, and not only by Capcom either. Even the Japanese arcade versions of SF have english legal text at the beginning, etc. Shit, most fighting games even have english menus. In fact, I’m looking at the Vampire Collection import right now, and it clearly says © CAPCOM CO, LTD 2005 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED on the disc, manual, and case. I also just pulled up SF Zero 2 Alpha on MAME, and the title screen has the All Rights Reserved message in english at the bottom. Would you like screenshots and photos so you can claim they’re photoshopped also?

If that’s a fake disc, then that’s the best fake disc I’ve ever seen.

The Cody vs Dan pic has the different super meters, and you can also see a glimpse of Dan’s A3 guard meter at the top. These shots are also consistent with the screenshots Capcom’s released.

Blah blah A2 Gief thing, someone else answered it.

Hyper SF Zero looks like Deluxe Versus or whatever it was called on the CCC disc, which wasn’t mentioned in any advertisement either, that I recall. So no, it’s really not suprising that they wouldn’t mention it.

Capcom did some work. Sure it’s suprising, but it happened. The Vampire Collection added a new (sort of) character to VS, so why is it so impossible that they could add a mode that just mixes game modes?

It’s kinda funny…Capcom actually did work this time around instead of just “another collection”.

Mid-June just can’t come fast enough.

CDL made some good points but yes, fair play, he’s been proved wrong. I’m so glad because this package sounds almost too good to be true. I can’t wait to get my copy and mess about with Hyper Street Fighter Zero, it’ll be such a laugh.
