Pretty sweet=) The guys are great here except no A3/ST/3s. Pretty much stuck with CvS2 99% of the time(eww). I miss hot Vegas A3 matches:( On CvS2 it’s a P-Groovers paradise here. NO A-Groove! lol.

Sups Popoblo! I’d any any Sf tourneys. 3s(although I will have had zero practice since there is no machine here:/) ST/CvS2/A3/HF. Out of all of em I suppose I can get ready for some cvs2 but…no A-groove here and that’s what I should practice against. I’m sure I’ll be able to sit there and do nothing just as well as the next guy though. Heheh. So I suppose any of those 5 that there are tourneys on=)

lol, that’s exactly how i am. i figure if i’m going to drive/fly a long way, why not get my money’s worth and go all out? sure i’ll get owned in some games that aren’t my specialty, but at least i don’t leave wondering what could’ve been. why no mvc2? and was A-groove all you played against in vegas or something? i play an A-groove team myself as my main team (see avatar). hopefully if i make it out i’ll see you there.

i seen him play before and he had a custom with cody that makes everyone else look like shit and NO it wasnt a CC.it was something involing a gaurd break in the corner.the whole time i saw him play,i didnt see one CC,so the theory that top cody players use CC to win is bullshit

Plus, there’s going to be quite a few other WC players competing at ECC8 - you may have forgotten that Jason Cole/Nelson are also planning to attend.
I’ve never taken mvc2 seriously. I still don’t think I know a full team on that game, lol. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever had enough A-Groove comp. We had a couple in Vegas and NONE here. So that’s my least experienced opposing groove. I’d just prefer more A-groove comp since I believe A and K to be clearly the best grooves.

That’s a great idea Temujin! I’d love to tape a 5 on 5 like that. As for money games, tite! Unfortunately I prolly won’t bring Rog though since I can’t select him here and it’s been a while since I’ve touched him. Although, he is a Sak counter so I’ll try to get a decent warm up. Otherwise I’ll use one of 7 other characters randomly, heheh. I’m going to try to get the code put in so I can freshen up with Rog though. I mainly want some a3 at ecc to practice for MWC(much bigger a3 tourney). Otherwise I’m cold going into anything a3. HELLA shitty. Either way, depending on how much I end up bringing I’ll at least play to 50$ or 100$ but try to get a machine that’s just for money games. I hate playing for money, then next dude comes up just to play and all these quarters are ahead of the serious games:/ Kinda breaks my flow of seriousness, haha. Know what I mean? We need a bouncer for money matches:P
Cole is going as well. That’s a good match on both sides. Sak vs. Sim. 50/50 imo. Might wanna hit him up too.
Come to think of it…outside of one MWC, have we EVER been in the same tourney?
Also, if Nibor or any other guys want to play for money gather them up too. I’m am SOOOOOOOO aching for a serious A3 session. One can only take so much CvS2 boredom without a real. fast paced, in your face fight. I swear cvs2 should be for retired SF players with arthritis. The last SF that moved that slow was what…SSF2? (ugh, didn’t mean to barf on old school) I’ll take a real fight any day. Thanks for the challenge!

I’ve had little choice but to turn my nose against the game. It’s really not that bad; but in a way - you’ve gotta work at lot harder at things compared to other games. It’s good to play if only just to chill with other players who are big on it too, and it’s going to be pretty common until the next big chapter in SF finally falls upon us.
Seeing Cole in action will be tight. It goes w/o saying that I miss playing against ya since Vegas / Evo.
In any event, I can see that the A3 cab’s going to be hella crowded over the Memorial Day weekend.
