Hey, just asking, but who here is still playing SFA3, in arcade/home/PC??? And what character/isms are you using?
I’m using A-Bison and A/V-Honda, I’ve gotten rusty with my other characters since nobody wanted to play me when I was using Cody, I still go to the arcade, the 3S machine is right next to the A3 machine so I can switch whenever there is comp on one or the other. I tried V-Bison for a bit, but realised I would have to make myself unlearn all my charging practice to play him the way I think he should be in V-ism.
Here in a few weeks I’m going to start looking for an A3 board. I’m mainly a 3s player, but I’ve started playing some A3 on the PS. I’ve mainly been using V-Sodom and V/A-Nash
I don’t get to play much lately, as I was working with the DC version, and my copy sorta fizzled out on me. With the new semester starting I’ll get back to playing again. God damn arcade with it’s 50 cent A3 machine…for fuck’s sake, the game is 7 years old! …anyway, I play a fair amount of random select, and I’ll play V-Akuma every once in a while vs the CPU just to see if I can do the BAS VC. Outside of that, I play Rose to practice stuff, I play Ryu a little (both usually in A or V, usually A for Ryu), and I play A-Gen and V-Blanka some. And A-Guy, for fun, since I suck with him.
I’m still playing this game with passion and at every chance i get. We have some good players here in germany, and A3 is still part of most of the tournaments.
I’m an A-Ism player, just to say FU to everybody who says “A3 is all V-Ism, get over it” :karate: but mainly because it’s fun. I don’t like the V-Ism way of playing (actually started playing A3 with V-Sak back in the days).

yo everyone come to texas showdown5 big a3 tourney (as we all know big is a relative word in a3) japan is comming along with alot of top names in usa. COME REPRESENT A3.
Speaking 'bout crouch cancelling, I’ve never really understood how U can keep juggling the opponent at the corner.
I thought U can only juggle up to 2 times only?
Because you don’t go into a neutral state while crouch canceling, everything is counted as 1 juggle possebility and not more (seems like a bug in the engine^^). Anyway, this is better and more detailed explained in the link posted by bowiegranap before you did your post.
Need some tips on Vega(Claw) like basics. I saw the vc’s on the other thread so I will work on those. But what are some Vega tactics and what are good pokes, combos, anti-airs, and basic strategy.
