yeah psycore i was hoping for more. I’m learning sim and it’s always nice to see how people play. Kind oflike being in the arcade and scoping the competition. Good VCs with Dhalsim. maybe you’ll post some more ^^
Muskau, you’ve improved a lot since the last replay that i saw of yours. it’s obvious you’ve been putting some time in and learning the priorities. I’ve got some advice for you if you want it. You should learn crouch cancels. In your replay you win a lot of air-to-air counters, you can gain free hits after. Just hold down as you jump so you’re landing into the crouch animation and cancel your landing into another jump. A 2nd j.fierce will carry on with the counter hit damage and carry the juggle potential on, so useful if you’re near the corner too.
i spent hours in the arcade today, just working on cody’s unflippable infinitie set-up and his jab, jab, short, forward ruffian kick. think i’ve got it down better. I also believe my stick might be dying, because i’m missing the occasional whiff tornado in my VC and i’ve got that down. might be me being stoned.

hey thanks for the link, i appreciate you trying to help. unfortunately i wouldn’t spit on that combo from thast chilie site. for the simple reason is that it is not a true combo. It mostly works but that set-up of whiffing a jab before going into the crouch cancel series is escapable.
Thats why you’ll see me going for s.fierce, whiff jab tornado. s.roundhouse, whiff c.fierce, then the shadow of the jab tornado will overlap the end of c.fierce allowing for an unflippable set-up.
It’s a lot harder to time but is worth the effort learning. Nibor taught me this and i’ve still not seen it on any combo vids. I’m spending a lot of time working on the 2 infinite set-ups.

I can’t get that one to play back correctly. I enabled the light blue background with cheats and started your replay but you start a normal game and not survival mode.
Hmmmm. I don’t remember if i used a cheat to start survival mode maybe You should try both with and without survivalmode cheats.

Thanks for the advice, but I don’t think I’ve really improved, I just changed over to an emulator that works with my control drivers, and decided to stop whoring the crack kick against the cpu all the time, because I found it makes you lose focus on your ground game. It’s just competition at my arcade has all but disappeared in the last few months, and I’m finding less and less reason to try and work extra stuff into my games. A few months ago I was starting to use V-Cody and doing basic corner, and mid screen VC’s, but now I think I’m out of practice, which is why I’ve decided to learn Honda to get interested again.
BTW your V-Cody replays are good, it’s nice to see what pokes and wake-up strategies people use, and it’s nice to see that Sodom and Guy give people other than me trouble from time to time :lol:
bushin’s V-Ryu Survival replay works if you just enable survival mode in the cheats menu and then start the replay, nice work with the VC’s and juggles.
Nobody can consistently time Guy’s bushin chain as good as you demonstrated in those videos, so you must be using macros of some sort! All your combos were performed from a standing position, which kinda gives you away, because most people crouch during a Guy combo (c.LP or C.MP) when fighting against a Human opponent. His complete bushin chain is only effective against dizzy opponents, otherwise people can just crouch beneath the standing LP, causing the chain to whiff. I know you was fighting against the CPU, but your style of play just doesn’t seem right, and suggests to me that you was cheating!

Sub, you were in great shape that time, lots of improvisation into VC’s good work.
If someone is able to make a replay with them finishing expert CPU with R.Mika I will be eternally in awe of them :lol: I’ve never been able to beat Gief with Mika on the second last stage.
