Which replays are you referring to?
Make sure the player didn’t have cheats enabled during recording. If they did, you need to enable the cheats in order to watch the replay (like survival mode).
To record online matches i’d recommend using final burn alpha. I believe you can click game/record input once the game has started. Mame has online recording options too, i believe you hold down left shift whiil clicking ‘start game’ in the kaillera text dialog. (though mame replay saves are massive comparitavely.)
If the server list keeps crashing, try deleting kaillera.ini in c:\windows.
hmm on a side note on the kawaks vs. fba debate, i prefer kawaks for one simple reason. you can mute the bgm. mixing in sound effects with mp3’s is the way forward. Also im not sure if you can frame-by-frame step advance while paused in FBA.

If you have a different version of Kawaks, the Replay may not run properly. Cheats can also have subtle effects(These effects often seem to be completely unrelated to the actual cheat. Having Infinite Power On/Off, may result in missed combo if the cheat is Off/On when replayed. Even if the cheat wasn’t required.)
Kawaks also has issues with Keyboard Input(Specifically, trouble doing Half Circles/360s).
Yes, FBA can Advance Frame while paused.
Also, 40+ hit Unflippable Guy combos are very possible.
For match replays, I honestly prefer FBA. Mainly, because Kawaks’ ‘Turbo’ function doesn’t work for crap when I use it. FBA can run the replay at about 4x speed when I want it to. As such, it’s useful for skipping past unimportant parts(Character selection, continue screen, ect ect ect), or for going back to a match that you wanted to see again(I wish ‘one’ of them had a ‘Jump to Time’ function, or at least a Rewind.)

But… As a thought… Are you doing Redizzy combos? If not, I believe that’s neccessary to bring it to 40+.
The 38 is only on Honda and includes a dizzy.
it even includes whiffing a few special moves to recharge another level 1 super at the end.
Tell Nibor to get invloved with this thread or to record some kawaks replays of the combo. And tell him i said hi.

Turtle Guy with combos, whoring the s.strong counter hit into super. hmm it was the player 1/2 bug after the rolling out the bushin in the corner that was a pain too.
getting back to the emu thing, losing sync after ‘turbo’ is annoying, as is the different versions of kawaks losing sync. all seemed to go pear shaped after 1.47
we need more 2 player sessions recording.

So, are you using REdizzy combos?
I’ve ‘seen’ at least 2 40+ Guy Unflippables in Replay form from Nibor… Both were Redizzy combos(I.E., the enemy is Dizzied ‘twice’ in the combo). If you can find the Trailer for Marvelicious 2, Version A I believe, there’s such a Guy combo at the end, and it also doesn’t have a Super, does 100%, and isn’t on Honda.
I can tell Nibor to drop by, sure. I’m not about to post his replays, though, as I’m not sure if he’d want me to.
The only re-dizzy combo I’ve ever seen can be tech flipped, and was done on Akuma, who has the lowest dizzy guage in the game.

Nibor’s can’t, and isn’t on Akuma(I’m aware of his lowest Dizzy gauge, though)
Like I said, I’ll tell him to stop by. But, I won’t post his material without his go ahead. Using it for an upcoming Video is a very real option, which I wouldn’t want to dash… And, the one from the M2 Trailer, is pretty old… Not sure if the replay is still around…

Some online replays I recorded using the popular 0.64 hack of Mame (Playback Kailerra Input).
First up… Some close matches between a strong unknown Ryu player and myself Vega V-ism (I’m always on the left).

Before I uploaded our matches for everyone to see, Adel insisted on having a rematch because he claims that he never played seriously before, but really it’s just so he could get his ass CC’d again!
If you get as far as the end, you will see me start a CC from the Flying Izuna Drop (or whatever it’s called), without any V-ism activated!
I like this Cody style, nice matches. It shows that not only V-Cody is a good Char.^^
