It would mean a lot to me to see that V-Gen stuff passed around in a combo video. Especially his mid-screen into corner into infinite.
OK, i have just picked up Alpha 3 again recently. Back when I played the game, nobody use V-ISM in HK 'cuz no body figured out how powerful it is.
Anyway, I’m learning V-Gief, my friend use his beloved A-Guy, he’s a bit rusty, but I still had a hard time beating him even though I got the more powerful character…

I watched it earlier. But, IIRC, you were not damage reducing supers. Were you? Guy’s supers can be reduced quite a bit.

You don’t have to use it. You can just download it and watch whatever replays you want.
I mean damn, I hate kawaks and everything, but I have it on my comp and watch replays with it. I just don’t use it.
From a programmers perspective, I just find kawaks to be disgusting garbage. And I also think FBA is very well written, nevermind the fact that it was written better than kawaks, of corse it was witten better than kawaks.
Basically, FBA is superior in every way. Gee, let’s count the ways.

I can adjust the volume with a keypress.

Pausing while watching a play-back doesn’t screw up the play-back.

The recordings can be named anything. I don’t have to rename the recordings that other people make every damn time I want to watch some replays.

I can just double click on a recording, and bam, it loads the emu, the rom, and recording all for me.

Taking screen shots and sprite ripping is as easy as clicking a few buttons in FBA.

The code is written a hell of a lot better than kawaks.
And the biggest one of all :
- I don’t have to fucking PAUSE the emulation just to exit. FBA does that simple shit for me. :rolleyes:

Rose is SO much fun to watch and play. That A-Rose illusion-craziness is classic, gotta love her for stuff like that. 26 hits vs. Rolento
You actually use some illusion tricks i do myself, eg. meaty close s.forward -> qcb x2 strong, but linking that super after c.short -> c.forward is news for me, thx for that

Hehe. Maybe because those two things you just mentioned happened to be her A-ism unblockables? Well, sorta… Minus the set-ups for them anyway.
That combo on Rolento was also just another variation on her stun/dizzy combo, too. It’s funny though, when I sent that replay to my bro he called that combo on Rolento “Legenday” – “Rose combo of the Century”. He’s another Rose fan, too. :lol:
But, despite how it looked, the overall damage was about the same as the other variations.

This is guy’s 31 hit combo. I dont think any more hits are capable without implementing proximity cancelling (and i have neither the timing nor patience to pull that off in a combo). Has anyone here been able to perform the 40+ hit guy combo described in the All about sfa3 book?
I dont even understand the correct positioning needed for that combo let alone perform it 
I can only get 38 un-flippable hits.
I don’t think you can get more than 38 without allowing the opponent the opportunity to tech-flip.
And FYI. I had to use A-ism E.Honda as the dummy in order to do it, other characters would dizzy too quickly.
You can probably get 41 hits only if the opponent doesn’t flip during the combo.
hey i was just wondering is it possible to record online matchs through kairilla or no? also. kairlla doesn’t work for me anymore. I was playing sfa3 online the past two days, and even some today, and then all of sudden when i go to net play and kairilla starts its basically freezes up, won’t check for servers (can’t even do anything in it). This is the same thing on mame 32 also. ) (playing games offline work fine.) anyone know how i can fix this, or was something for kairilla down? thanks for the help.

i was trying to see in kawaks the amazing vids of birdie but i just see it losing… do i have to do somenthing in my rom before watching these replays?
