This is my final “CAST” thread.
Left out Rose, Cody Guy, Dan and Sakura out because they’re really important characters and their chances are too high compared to the rest.
Left out Karin since she’s too requested so her chances are really high.
Some characters like Sodom, Eagle, Birdie, Maki, etc., debuted in Street Fighter I or Final Fight, but they were re-invented for this game.
Juni, Juli and Evil Ryu I left out, because they’re boring.
1. Eagle. I don’t know you but I think his gameplay is awesome and he could adapt easily to an offensive game like this. I’m almost sure he has a high chance.
2. Birdie. He’s so bulky, his design looks like what Ono likes and I just think he’s a completely concept of grappler that could bring much flavor to this game.
3. Sodom. I’m practically sure either Birdie or Sodom will find a place in this game. Sodom’s gameplay is so unique, so tricky, he could fit awesome into this game.
4. R. Mika. She’s kind of requested, so she has some chances, but I think Ono will have to choose Karin OR Mika, and I don’t see Mika having the upper hand on this. Her gameplay is not very good either.
5. Maki. If they drop Cody and Guy for the beginning, Haggar and Maki could make it. Maki’s gameplay is not bad at all and has a couple similarities with Guy.
6. Rolento. I don’t think we’ll see him back. He was kind of a little substitute for Claw but I think Claw has the upper hand on this.
7. Ingrid. Ono already integrated Poison fully into the Street Fighter universe, Ingrid might have a chance this time, her gameplay can be easily improved and she could be perhaps a substitute for Rose?
8. Gen. His gameplay is good and all but I think he fit better on IV, he’s too unorthodox for a more fast-paced and aggressive game, and I simply don’t think they’re interested in him again.
9. Adon. I just don’t know, unless they radically revamp him I don’t see him in this since his moves don’t seem much for this game. I doubt we’ll see him.
Of these my first hope will be R.Mika
But mostly because it will increase the chances of Gief to be in, kinda like Charlie make me think i will get Dictator in SFV
And boobs are nice
If i must consider only the character Gen, Adon and Birdie are the ones i will like more see return
Who have the best chances i don’t know… Karin seem the only to have a clear popularity advantage, but is also the one with a clear obstacle to be in
Gen - I want to see what happens next in his story.
Birdie - Just too cool.
Eagle - Cuz he’s gay, someone’s gotta represent (Besides Gief and Poison

wtf? I don’t think any of the alpha characters have a good chance of making it in. or at least some don’t have higher chances than any others. Let’s keep in mind that Birdie, Sodom, and Rolento are Mad Gear Gang and would only be in if Cody, Guy, and maybe Haggar are in too. I guess I’ll vote Adon since he’s the most relevant character listed and has a story line connected with one of the main bosses.
I guess R. Mika. I don’t really like anyone else.
Eagle is overdue as well. He’s probably my second favorite character after Karin. His moveset with the sticks are so diverse and fun. He needs to be in it. My most favorite characters just so happen to be MIA after Alpha 3 wtf?
Man, Gen is cool. We don’t really have any other “stance” characters, so he fills a unique role.
Still wish we had R.Mika though. I mean, we should have gotten her INSTEAD of Fuerte to begin with.
I’ll throw my two cents. Voted for R. Mika because a female grappler would be fun. Hopefully be a character with some good mix ups and bring the hurt.
I’ll hopefully have Juri and of course Chun is in so R. Mika would be a cool addition to my line up and we won’t have to worry about how she used to play because Ono promises they’ll all be uniquely changed
More than Alpha, i wish they make return SF EX concepts
I know Arika got the rights, but they can recycle the concept with slight changes

Yeah, but just remembered he’s kind of similar to Dudley, both in looks and even in some of his moves. I guess that lowers his chances quite a bit…
Yeah, but C. Jack was pretty much a Balrog replacement, and Pullum a Cammy’s replacement. The looks could influence some new characters, though.
Voted R.Mika, anyone but Ingrid. I’d even put up with some of those godawful EX characters before her.
@Metroxylon Birdie isn’t mad gear. Birdie tried to join Shadoloo but Bison wasn’t interested other than using him as a test subject for demeaning experiments. Birdie is solo, not attached to any group in street fighter canon.
I really want Rolento but I highly doubt he’ll make it in since he’s not very popular and he was just included in both SFxT and USF4. Eagle would be cool but he’s not popular either and is very similar to Dudley in appearance. I never really liked Maki and always preferred Guy, so I left her out really only because I don’t care for her. So I chose Ingrid because she’s the most unique and interesting out of the Alpha cast imo. She’s got some cool stuff and it would be kinda cool to see how she’s implemented into the story I guess.
People seem to be missing the idea of this thread, it’s not “Who you want in SFV that was in Alpha 3”, it’s " Who from Alpha 3 has the best chance of getting into SFV."
That’s why I voted for Adon. Fuck that guy.
Who has the best chance? Adon easily. Hes already in sf4 so that just bodes well for him since there would be less move conceptualization for him.

R.mika without a doubt.
She has a GREAT streetfighter toolset. Her main problem was a lack of fireball and lowish damage outside vism along with jer grapples having no range for no reason.
If capcom puts a balanced version of mika into the game, she could be a GREAT super fun character with a refreshing style to boot.
