Well. unless you’ve found all this stuff out by now, I can post some simple stuff with Rose.
Basic BnB
Crouch Jab, Crouch Short, Crouch Strong into (Short) Soul Spiral (qcf+k)
-This combo can become a cross-up with Jumping Forward Kick
Stand Forward into (Short) Soul Spiral
Anti-Air Combos
-Crouch Fierce into Level 1 Aura Soul Throw (qcfx2+p)
**Unblockable **
Cross up with Jumping Forward, Crouch Fierce into level 1 Soul Illusion (immediately after activation)
Crouch Roundhouse. Do an early (meaty) Crouch Forward(Slide-Down/Toward), for an unblockable with the shadows, then do Crouch Strong into Roundhouse Soul Spiral
Extra
- Cross up Forward, Crouch Fierce (immediately activate Level 1 Soul Illusion), immediately after that, do Level 2 Soul Spark.
-Not necessarily practical, but if the opt comes it does great damage, although you probably can get more with her CCor the same damage.
Soko Made Yo
-Punch Alpha Counter into Crouch Strong into Soul Spiral
Custom Combo
Activate- Crouch Roundhouse, into (Roundhouse) Soul Spiral 3x, into Soul throw
You can basically do this same custom no matter what level as long as you take out 1 or 2 Soul Spirals.
In terms of strategies outside of using Crouch Strong…well Crouch Strong is really good. But Rose can bait pretty well from a distance. Crouch Roundhouse is good for punishing whiffs at max range against characters with no bar. She can pretty much play A2 Ken’s game, build meter stay at max range and Kick AC mostly. She’s really all about making other people mess and taking 80-90% (Dhalsim).
Jumping Short is an ok Jump in every now and again for tick throw (Punch). Stand Roundhouse “can” be used as AA but Crouch Fierce is better. Jump Fierce is ok air-to air, Jump Forward is decent air-to air jumping straight up also. I still feel like I’m missing ALOT, I know I am, but this is a good start at least.
