I’m thinkin about getting this. It’s probably not arcade perfect, so I’m asking yall the differences b/w arcade and the pc version. The dude I’m getting it from is not really a fighting gamer, so he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
i’ll bet it is the exact same as the psx version of A2, since pc A1 was equal to psx A1.
I used to own it many years back but I’m not sure about the frames and small changes and such. Shin Akuma and Classic Chun Li are included but not Evil Ryu. There’s also loading between after the select screen goes away and when the fight actually starts.
Oh OK. Classic Chun Li = A3 X-ism style chun I guess? Wonder how her alpha counter looks like. Thanks, dude.
Yeah I actually had this. It was essential the same as the ps1 version.
Is there any non-legal reason why you would want to play this over an emulator?
ggpo ftw
wow I actually never knew that Fighting games were sold on PC thats awesome. I know that Guilty Gear was but I wouldve found it a retail store around here…hopefully they put street fighter 4 on PC crosses fingers
Virtua Fighter 1, toshinden, FF3, Samsho2 are on PC too, on that point. Cheap as heck. FF3 is arcade perfect as far as I can tell, I was really surprised with that. Capcom, Sega and Konami will occasionally test out the PC waters with their blockbuster console games: I think I’ve come across DMC3 on PC in a random Gamestop few times, plus Silent Hill and Sonic games.
KOF 99 Evolution is also available on PC, it just seems to be a Dreamcast port (which is bad…)
Nah, it’s basically just the same Chun, except her Kikoken is now a charge motion.
Xmen COTA came out on PC as well. I remember seeing it at Toys R Us.
I still want to play the PC version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy someday.
On-topic, I never tried Alpha 2 on PCP. Just crack cocaine and Kool-Aid.
i think i still have the pc version somewhere
