1st of all your “fact” isn’t true and you can’t back it up.
2nd, you may see this as a meaningless fun fact but I think it says a lot about the SF4 player base in Japan, and how much experience (measured in YEARS) is important for success in the genre. And also that SF4 may seem like child’s play after playing an unforgiving game such as GG against its deadliest players on earth.
It’s like that article on defense (by Maj? I don’t remember) that was published on the front page 2 years ago. Not blocking an overhead or not teching a throw is like “whatever” in SF4… But in other games it gets you killed.
Also some people seem to get really bitter over a “fun fact” thread for some reason.
Other than Daigo and Kindevu, the rest are still playing GG at tournaments. I guess the only difference is that they don’t need to level up their game anymore in casuals so they fuck around with other games.

well to be honest I don’t know why these GG players actually care to touch that abomination that is SFIV in the first place. I think they just want to be in the spotlight since GG was the most played 2D fighter before SFIV??!! and they want the fame of SF for themselves now?? I dunno how popular SFIV really is in japan though. Isn’t BB the most played 2D fighter right now!? so BB suck so much ass that GG players just don’t care?! or is it just that SFIV is so easy to get into that for TOP GG players is like a walk in the park to win in that game!!??

The number of known GG players who play BB is a lot bigger.
Dio, Buppa, Nezu, Satoshi, Minami, Shounen, 0, Tsujikawa, kubo, shadow, fumo, akira, Kaqn, Zakiyama, Koichi, Die-chan, BLEED, HH and I’m sure I’m forgetting some more who tried CT and CS, got pissed at some point and quit. (Not that you can blame them. CS2 is a huge improvement)
What engine changes did they make on CS2 anyway?
A lot of minor tweaks that add up to make the game more aggressive and corner based. They also changed all the characters and the cast feels way more balanced and fair now.

No it’s more like she’s the tier whores’ character of choice now. So you’ll see more good makotos than good insert other chars.
But she doesn’t really dominate. There are 4 Makotos in the top 20 but also 3 Litchis for example which is a C tier character.
