When gambit does his 2K super and a flying sent grabs him the game freezes. Only tested on ntsc jap PS2 version though, which seems to freeze quite a bit (superamoured collusus HP grabbed by magneto then d.HP launched also freezes in this version, while it doesnt on arcade).

Gief I believe is the only character who cannot wave dash. :sad:

Cable can float for a very, VERY, long time in the corner by throwing and endless amount of grenades when super jumping. The opponent must be cornered and then you just super jump and throw away. All they have to do is walk under him to make him throw the other way and it’s back to normal.

Cable can also do an extra attack after he does an AHVB, but still cannot block until he lands. It’s still to this day unconfirmed on how to actually do it but it seems to be just before he lands on the ground from doing the super, he’s “gifted” with an extra attack. The jab and short are the only ones that come out fully where-as the Fierce (gun) and Roundhouse you only see the animation where he is trying to get it off fully. I get it off about 30% of the time by just holding up and mashing the button; you may get away with it by just timing the button before you land. I don’t really think it’s possible to get another attack such as a special move or even a super because it’s virtually humanly impossible but I could be wrong.

Also, super armored Colossus HP grabbed by Magneto then snapped out removes Colossus’ super armor rather than snapping him out. He reappears out of nowhere.

Speaking of guardcancelling HSF…

Cyclops’ optic sweep goes underneath HSF. If you GC like normal as if you were going to SJ out, you can do optic sweep xx SOB instead for a combo or framekill to something like Hailstorm or Proton Cannon (any full-screen insta super when Frame Killed). You can just do optic sweep xx SOB, but it is rollable, same with optic sweep xx MOB (hella unsafe if they roll and you can’t dhc, atleast SOB you can aim at them to protect yourself)

Oh yeah, that too. I do it all the time when I play the cpu when Colossus goes super, HP grabbed, snap out, wait for him to come back in (try to guard break) really haven’t experienced with that much though. Can he be guard broken after coming back in play?

Also, ‘maxed’ out combos are alerted with a whistle. Not too sure if it’s only because of the combo, or something else, but notice it with certain characters (Storm for example)

Her throw does damage to storm, but storm can mash f+HP and get a throw immediately after psylocke throws her. Justin did this against I think Isaac at last year’s ECC. Judging how it happened, I dont see why anyone can’t throw psylocke back as well.

Okay, let me try to clarify this better. A high damaging combo, that discontinues any further actions. Like Magneto’s c.hp, sj.hk, ad/df+lk, d+hk. You cannot do anything else after that. No OTG or anything. Seen a lot if matches now days. Those types of combos.
