I highly doubt the owners would check these forums but you can feel free to just make suggestions directly to the owner there. They are really nice people so there should no problem for you to just drop them suggestions.
However, I will tell you this. The 3s machine use to be where all the MvC2 machines were and no one played it. Majority of the crowd that plays at Cameron’s are either MvC2 players or SF4 players, T5 comes at a close third in terms of popularity.
Ok I’ll ask the owners. Hopefully third strike will be in a better arcade cabinet like CVS2 so that some Cameron players can get into it. Third strike is one of the best fighting games in history and I just don’t think it has an adequate set up in Cameron. There is not enough room for two players to play it seriously and plus the joysticks and buttons are busted. Hopefully it only takes a swap with the alpha 3 cabinet to make it a more attractive game to the players. Hopefully this request can be answered.
I love Third Strike. It was the first SF that I really started to play competitively, its graphics and system were remarkable for its time, but.
The fact of the matter is, it IS a 10 year old+ game. I still love it and it still have its cult followers, but the fact of the matter is it’s not going to bring in as much quarters as even MvC2.
I play it once in awhile when I’m in line for SF4. Fixing the buttons I can see happening, switching it out completely with another cabinet I don’t see.
…but I hope you do talk to them and prove me wrong! Otherwise I’ll wait for Capcom to do an update on it. oh please oh please
Wish I could’ve stayed more, but I was being called away. Good stuff gaoser, i’m still lost as to why you think my Fuerte got better, since I did so horribly on that second fight, but the compliment was appreciated just the same. I need to stop by after work more often.
I don’t think I can run a tournament this month due to parties, Thanksgiving and me playing catch up with schoolwork. Yes I know going out to have fun at parties is counterproductive to this whole school catch up thing.
However, if someone wants to take over this month and run one, feel free to hit me up on AIM. I can send you the tournament bracket maker program and show you how things work. From there you just need to talk to the owners (Claudia or Alex) and set a date to run it.
It’s okay if there ain’t a tournament this month though. That’ll give you guys time to practice up and get better, cause I own you guys for free.
