when do you guys go out to play. i went there once and beat the game twice without facing a player…
try and check the thread before you head there… i only go if i know people are going… and usually thats bee around 4-7/8 ish

hey guys, i know most of you in this thread are coming to camerons for sf4, but would any of you be interested in a low tier marvel tourney? here are the rules i want to use, it should pretty much level the playing field for people new to the game by eliminating alot (all) of the advanced top tier stuff:
banned characters:
magneto
storm
sentinel
ironman
cable
war machine
dr. doom
blackheart
spiral
strider
banned assist moves (these characters are still selectable):
captain commando (anti air)
tron (rings)
everything else is allowed, that does not prevent gameplay.
(e.g. gambit glitch/dead body infinitie= illegal, juggernaut power-up/infinite combos/guardbreaks/unblockables = ok)

If you’re gonna run the low tier tourney on Sunday then I don’t think I can join even though I am there. I gotta sit there to monitor and call out names for the team tourney. But I think it is a good idea to do it on the day of the SF4 tourney because the SF4 people can get some exposure to Marvel.
That’ll be cool to get some kind of tournament scene to start at Cameron’s for Marvel. There are a good handful of players there who play it and no one ever runs a tourney for it. If Marvel picks up with a tourney maybe CvS2 can…just maybe.
