I can understand why people don’t like the Online Edition remixes, but the composer’s philosophy on remixes is pretty cool:
“Remixing is an artform. You gotta preserve the essence of the original, but keep in mind that the original is still there to please the purists - so you should dare to make some unexpected stuff too.”

I have to disagree with every single jazzy nyc remix here. I think they’re all really really bad. Indecisive about what mood they’re trying to convey and what instrumentation to use. Very amateurish and over-the top for cheap kicks.
When you start with crap you end up with crap. I love Alex but jazzy NYC is a terrible mishmash of random noise. Street fighter has never had good music barring 5 so I have great hopes for Alex’s theme.
5 has really good music for a game series with terrible music so I’m reasonably excited for Alex to have a new theme.
Do your worst I can take it!!!
