Don’t know if this was figured out already, but after f.throw, frame perfect dash, cr.lk, df palm safejumps 4frame reversals. You can also use cr.hp, hk df palm, but at that range df grab is too far to grab, so it’s not a mixup. Cr.hp, palm is easier to perform though, as you can’t conventionaly plink a light attack.

Tested against ken’s ex dp and dan’s hp dp, both 4f dp’s and both characters have normal wakeup times.

Random question: Do all flips last the same amount of time, and if not, any ideas on how long they last?

The difficulty is more about the short time this move last. If you’re as good as knowing the dash animation / timing, to start the plink at the right time, AND input a DF move fast, you’re good to go. Meaning you probably have to learn to dash and keep holding :df: to use it for the DF start. I fail at it after a year learning to go back to guard after each move ^^.

Setup after fwd throw against that cunty schoolgirl cunt (Sakura)

fwd. throw > dash > delayed HK divekick
backdash is safe
beats everything except trades with U2

U1, EX SRK whiff.

I like this setup opposed to the other posted one because everytime i try that one i get fwd. dashed under but this hits them close enough to beat it.

But yeah just a good thing i discovered for it.

sweep wont punish a f.dash it’s too fast recovery I think.

All dashes are at least 18 frames or hella slow on recovery.

Are we talking corner setup or mid-screen? Mid screen after fwd throw I usually go for dash x 2, j.hk since her her quickest dp is LP dp (6fs). Mix it up with cross-up tatsu a few times and she’s fucked, though you gotta be carefull as x-up tatsu looses to her U2, even though you’re completely behind her, it still hits you… Thank you for that capcom!

In the corner, after fwd throw, backdash HK DF Dive kick works really well.

Just curious if anyone has found this useful or any flaws…also im bragging.

I like to do this on almost all of the cast with DP’s.

Condition them with dash walk forward HK df dive kick.
I space it so it will sometimes cross up and DP’s will whiff or get stuffed.
When they stop doing DP’s you can use MK df throw or HK df palm whiff crossup and mix that with just a throw or jab, st.hp hitconfirm.

It’s very basic but it seems the most effective one know that every good player knows every non 50/50 fake crossup setup out there.

Not sure if this is anything new but j. Fierce can cross up in the corner like j. Rh can. I was trying some stuff out on Rufus in the corner and would space the distance with a jab x3 block string then jump would jump in with fierce and it crossed him up.

Hey everyone I found something that should help in the Rufus matchup. Remember when Desk discovered you can do three cr.strongs and link a sweep? I found a very practical application for it. Just do forward throw, dash x2, j.fierce/rh. The new timing on f.throw let’s you hit this combo because it doesn’t hit as meaty as before and because Rufus’ reversal is so slow you can still safejump it.
