I got pics today, will upload them tomorrow and ship out those who are correct fast fast fast.
Paik
Yeah :).
any chances u got my order? tried sending you several msg’s but have not heard anything from you.
Hey per how’s it going,
I was curious, I recall asking you if you an LS-55-01 would work on an HRAP 2 and you replied that it would be no problem however, the thing i’m concerned about is if I an additonal mounting plate such as the Seimitsu PI40-mountingplate, Seimitsu MS-mountingplate OR the Seimitsu VF-mountingplate would be required. Reason I ask is my friend will again be going to japan and would like for him to spend any more cash on additional items that are not required. I’m certain the stock mounting plate the HRAP 2 has installed as is should work fine. Let me know and thanks again
Yeah! You the man Neo! Any chance they will be shipped before the weekend?
OK, pics (not all) are up. On some pictures (that is not uploaded) there were minor errors so it will not take long to fix.
I should have uploaded pics sooner but my computer BROKE! I was going to connect the USB-cable to the back of it and I think I accidently pressed the “ON” button on my computer several times with my knees(I had to crawl under the desk to do this and I did not pay much attention to it). Well, the computer shut off and I could not start it again :(.

I ordered it yes but we have not gotten it yet. Please look at the statuspage for your order: http://akihabarashop.com/status.html .

This is what a JLF-plate looks like with measurements:
This is the MS-mountingplate:
As you can see the mountingholes are 40mm across (for mounting) on both the Sanwaplate and the Seimitsu MS-plate and it has almost the same size overall.
Now, HRAP2 uses the Sanwa JLF so with the MS-plate it should work fine.
When you buy the LS-55(-01) it comes with the MS-plate so it should be good for you.

More like Saturday-Sunday-Monday. So sorry it took this long :/. This is also why we need to take a break for a month.
I will not be online very much today or tomorrow but hoping for Monday so I will update more then.
Sorry for this.
PS: Should I buy MAC or PC?
Hi all
first post and a question (or a suggestion) for TheRealNeoGeo:
I find that the 5-pin harness from Sanwa is a bit expensive: ¥470 each which is about 4 US dollars. That really adds up when you need to buy a lot of these. Since the parts needed to put one together (housing + pins) are made by JST (a well-known Japanese connectors manufacturer), wouldn’t it be a better idea to buy them from a different and cheaper source and then make the harnesses yourself (just a matter of crimping 5 pins) for those who can’t crimp or just sell the parts for those who can?
What I’m saying is that the plastic housing goes for as low as ¥17 a piece and a bag of 50 pins ¥350. The cost of making one harness would then be ¥52 (the cost of 5 pieces of wire is practically irrelevant) as opposed to buying it for ¥470 from Sanwa. And it would be identical to the original, not a cheap one that doesn’t fit correctly the header on the stick.
If this makes sense and you want to know more I’ll give you more detailed info.

Hello and welcome to SRK forums.
I know that you can buy the connectors and open barrel pins for cheap, I think we have spoken to this company when we first started up Akihabarashop.com (I think they sell them even cheaper in Akihabaras small “specialstores”). If people want it in the shop we could get it but people must realise that you need a good tool to crimp the connectors on the wires (you could use some pliers maybe but the results don`t even come close). We sell the tool to crimp the Sanwa connectors for joysticks and buttons (called Hozan P-706 and it also works on Seimitsu) and it works on the 5-pin connector pins also.
We could sell the wire also if somebody is interested but this solution is mainly for those who will make or sell many sticks and not for those who buy 2-3.
But offcourse, if the people want it then they shall have it.
The 5-pin Seimitsucable that we also sell cost 290yen/each wich is a much better price I think.
Thanks dude, that’s really nice! You’re a great businessman.
neo, don’t see on anything on the status page but i’ll take your word for it. cann’t wait to get my stuff.
