Hey Per, I got my stuff today…well actually I didn’t hear the mailman so I didn’t get it. But I would have gotten it today! Thanks as usual!

Does anyone have any opinions on OBSN-30 buttons? My stick is having two buttons go out (Jab and start, which I don’t think is a OBSN-30), but it likes to have this problem only at certain times.
I figured it might just be the PCB board, but none of my other buttons are having this problem, just the two mentioned above. I like the feel of these buttons, but I am kind of concerned that this may happen to the other ones.
Take a picture and im sure we can tell you what they are.
Well, they are all OSBN-30 buttons. While the start is OBSN-24.
I am just mainly curious if anyone else has had problems with these buttons going out shortly after they were bought. (the ones on my stick have been used for about 3 months now, and 2 are already going out) Cause I sure as hell don’t wanna order more if they are’nt going to last too long.
Do the OSBF-30’s come w/micro switch. Do microswitches give the buttons faster response time? I wanna say they do because it seems like the default agetec ones are really responsive. Please Help
Sanwa OBSN-30 buttons are just fine, I use em my self.
And yes, it (all buttons) comes with microswitches.

Please send new email, your last email was just strange figures in it (dunno why).
Paik
Great, let me know when you get it :).
NeoGeo: I sent it to you another email. I change the colors of the stick and buttons I wanted I hope you get this one. I send it twice just to make sure.
Your sure, I thought you said you didn’t know what they are?
Oh well. Its very unlikely to be the buttons. Check your QDs or solder joints.
I was’nt sure what button the start was. I did’nt really know anything about the buttons, but was told by the person that made the stick that they were infact OBSN-30, I however, never asked what model the start was cause at the time, it was just fine. But now, it’s acting up.
I found out what the start was when I went to the Akihabara site and found out what the number’s on the side meant.
But I’ll try resoldering the points and see if that’ll help, thanks!
Modifying the Agetec
Looking at the http://www.tychom.org/stick/ webpage, all it really says is that you need a Sanwa JLF-TP-8Y and you’re set. My questions are this:
What parts will I need to buy from akihabarashop to make this work? Obviously the Sanwa JLF-TP-8Y, but it says stuff like “cable not included, JLF-H sold separately”, etc. which makes it seem like there is more needed than meets the eye.
Tychom mentions drilling, shaving, etc. but is there any soldering or circuitry involved? I think it would help me to know considering I’m not very technically inclined, and I’ve never constructed/modded a stick before.
I’m only interested in modding the stick, not the buttons.
Thanks for your responses guy.

Can anybody eye ball it, and tell if this is a 32mm ball top on this Ascii stick if so I’m gonna need a 45mm because this one is way to small.
Me want strawberries…
