You got an LS-32-01, you mean the blue restrictor under it if that can be put on a sanwa joystick? That will NOT fit any sanwa, sorry.
^ No, the little wire harness that clips to the joystick pins, will that clip to any sanwa? Because the site says it does. I am just confirming before I solder it.

5-pin universal joystick cable for JLF-TP-8Y. Typically, you will want one for each joystick you plan to install. Also compatible with any -01 submodel joystick from Seimitsu.
J-ride, yes those are wire harnesses and Sanwa/Seimitsu are interchangeable. They are pretty much identical, juts different manufacturers. I know some already come with insulated QDs attached. I’ve gotten a few of these before but I’m not sure if they’re Sanwa, Seimitsu, or neither. They are nice though : ) TRNG can tell you what the differences are, if any.

Ahaaaa :), the 5-pin connector cable. Sanwa and Seimitsu both use that, the only difference is that Seimitsu has the black wire in the middle and Sanwa has it on the side. The black on the Sanwa is for the ground and you would think the black on the Seimitsucable is ground also, but it is not. Either way, they made them interchangable because it is used as standard among cabinetsetups in japan (easier for vendors to change joystick basiclly).

The ones you talking about (the 5-pin connector with QDs and soft vinylsleeves yes?) was included in the Flash1-joystick Sanwa made. Seimitsu sells those soft vinylsleeves also but standard when you for example buy a new ControlPanel is the hard “clip-on”-sleeves.
Just got my stuff in the mail!

I have asked Sanwa some new questions and for some of you it may be interesting.
Also, I have ordered 50 x LB-35-MP (pink meshball, and NO, there are no green meshballs left anywhere, sorry) so I will put it in the shop soon (price was higher than estimated before, now is 600yen/each (5us$)). Sorry for this. Also, strange as it may seem but Sanwa has sold them to me when 2 weeks ago they said they had 0 left. I am beguinning to wonder what is going on over there…
Anyway here are the Qs and Ans:

hey, i just received my package yesterday and everything was in mint condition so thnx for the great service. I got one question though, how do i know with the 5 pin connector on the sanwa JLF-8YT which wire to connect? i mean I know black is ground but what are the others? do i just have to try?
can some one compose a list of what parts would be best for modding the agetec dreamcast stick cuz i got two and wanted to start my dabbling in joystick modding here:tup: :tup: thanx guys

Personally I would go with the Sanwa JLF-joystick because when you mount it it gives a good hight on the Agetec-stick wich feel nice for the hand.
If you want to replace the buttons also (it requires little bit of work on the holes because the stockbuttons are smaller than Sanwa/Seimitsu buttons, so you have to file the holes a little bit to make them bigger) you can go with whatever, personally I go with OBSF-30 or Sanwa RG/Seimitsu GX I think.

My friend recently went to japan and dropped by mak-japan to purchase some seimitsu parts for me however, to my dissapointment (not his fault) they were sold out on ps-14-gx (NOO!!) so they substituted with ps-14-g rather. My Q or Q’s would be: 1) would you guys be willing to help me out and order 6 ps-14-gx in green with the black bezel for me and I’ll wire the funds for the buttons to cover the expenses via paypal and b) the obsm-30 are comprable to the seimitsu am-30 however, do those fit an HRAP 2? let me know and thanks everyone.

Mak does not have all buttons in stock, you must order them.
I sell all buttons so 6xPS-14-GX (green with black bezel) is no problem, send me an email. Both OBSM-30 and AM-30 fit in standard buttonhole (30mm), so that is a YES to your question :).
Updated “products” so it includes meshball…
Will update soon with pictures for orders…just waiting untill I get them.
Also, I was wondering if anybody want some other products on the webpage like candy or whatever, I can get them fresh and new from Japan :).
