I was in my room, minding my own business and playing some blitz when OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE a brick gets thrown through my window. I’ve been playing fighting games for over ten years now and I have NEVER had a brick tossed through my window…
Now I gotta get a new window installed, deal with all the bugs flying in, clean up the glass…ughhh

I hear a lot of good stuff about this game. I’m not sure I really like the style, but I could see myself giving it a go if even just to see what everyone’s so hyped about.

In all seriousness, though, everyone in this game(except Blitztank) is good and everyone(except Blitztank) has their own little quirks that make them a barrel of fun. I play Anonym myself, or at least I did until my computer pussied out on me, and as long as you’re good at keeping distance and talking in a guttural snarl like everyone’s favorite time-traveling keepaway monster, then you should be fine. If you want to get into tiers, Anonym is low-tier when last I checked, but again, you’re fine as long as you aren’t playing as Blitztank.
Also, don’t play Fritz. I hate Fritz.

God damn. Can’t get any config.exe version to work. The japanese one simply crashes, and the english one appears to be running, but simply remains minimized with no GUI showing.
Did anyone had similar trouble?
Set compatibility mode to Windows 2000 or something like that.
It’s the standard doujin config problem issue: Didn’t link up the executable with comctl32.dll like they were supposed to.
Yeah, that’s the most likely solution. Had the same problem back when I was playing it on my older comp + on XP.
So, I finally gave in and re-installed this game… But, as soon as I did, my computer jumped off my desk, span around in the air crashed against my TV… Then caught on fire.
Now I am left without a computer and half of my room has been burned down.
… I also lost a hand in the process. DAMN YOU BLITZ! I knew I never should of re-installed it!!!

I do remember someone telling me that even Blitztank could be used to some effect though.
Random note in case people didn’t realize it:
With caster you can put sound.wav in the same folder it will beep you when some one connects. Useful if you post your IP and then go do other things while waiting for a connection.
