Holy shit reflektor combos are awesome. I don’t think I’ve seen this on the wiki, so can someone drop some knowledge on the properties of a back attack? What are the limitations on doing a combo off of a back attack? I hope I’m making sense. I’m guessing the reason why they’re limited is because of the hitboxes, right?

Adler’s 214A can crossup, at least on Akatsuki. It is seemingly random but I’m wondering if there is a way to do this consistently.
Put this in your replay folder and watch.
At 10 seconds remaining in the replay, you can see Adler ends up on the other side. The entire time I was trying different stick directions to see if I could cause it to happen.
How is his mixup game?
The tiers keep shifting around the more we play and learn. Personally, I don’t think Sai is actually high tier anymore. Really the main thing that makes him good is not having any particularly bad matchups. But, he has all the same tools other characters have except that his shit is less safe than the other high tiers. If anything he has less options than they do, and less safe shit to rely on. That isn’t to say he’s bad or anything, because he isn’t. But the other high tiers simply all have better tools than he does in every way, IMO.
Basically, yeah.
It’s great. He has two overheads, one of which hits twice and is comboable, the other knocks down and has variable distances, and is safe if used properly. All of his lows combo into his regular stuff.
He has a great j.C since it hits 3 times so if you time it right you can make it so that 1, 2, or 3 hits connect which is really good for messing up parries.
His mixup isn’t like freakin Aka or Mari level, btu it’s really good still.
His stuff seems pretty safe to me? I mean on paper it’s not exactly, but you can make it safe indirectly pretty much. Well I guess it’s not as safe as like mari’s crap =/
The other high tiers have safe wakeups, Sai has to guess and if he guesses wrong he’s fucked. Not having a meterless reversal move hurts him a lot by comparison to the other high tiers, and not being able to make his reversal safe is another handicap.
His anti-airs are subpar compared to the other high tiers. His jump-ins are subpar compared to the other high tiers. A lot of his moves aren’t safe on block which is limiting, unlike the other high tiers who can drill your guard bar with safe moves.
IMO anything he does, they do better, plus they have more tools. That isn’t to say any of his shit is really bad, it’s just not as good.

An issue with Caster a friend is having: He is on keyboard, and thus Caster doesn’t seem to want to work with him. I know with MBAC you could change the InputDevice value to 255, but the config for ABK’s Caster doesn’t have this. He’s tried setting ForceJoystick to both 255 and 1 but no dice. Any ideas?
Discounting Adler it’s 5 of 12. I say “only” because if you happen to play one of the “have not” characters then sux4u.

Why are you setting ForceJoystick when you want to use the keyboard? Seriously, that’s not an input device selection. It’s nothing more than a hack to workaround crappy stick detection in ABK. Get rid of that shit.
Caster uses the keyboard configuration as set in ABK. If it is set in ABK, and ForceJoystick is either not in there or zero, then it will work. Period.
